No problem! Is it all that you were thinking of I can try more if you were thinking of anything else?

What do you think? there has been a couple people that have done simaler things for thier headlights and the scale is a guess but hope you like it. I picked a bumper pad at a little better angle so that it fit the picture you gave me

After I did the first one I read a little closer and wanted them in the buckets. The holes and lids would have to be wider so again a guess on the scale. What do you think?

Not that Bonzo's car need’s modified in any way but was thinking of different ideas with the front bumper.

HI all

Back for round something or other, lol..... I think I found a pair of lites that are closer to the angle of the ferrari, so if you could put those lites onto the photo shopped ferrari that would be awesome! Again, thanx for doing this, and your time n effort!

85SEnochie, any of the "saddle-colored" vinyl in this interior basically is either a "light saddle" (e.g., all of the glove box except its dark gray door) or a "dark saddle" (e.g., the section immediately surrounding the black plastic vents to the right of the glove box):

I'm going to install a glove box similar to the one in the above picture, but first I'd really like to see it in some different color schemes, which greatly would help me in deciding which I'd like the most:
  1. Same as that pictured above except the dark gray glove box door is changed to light saddle, while the remainder stays a light saddle.

  2. The glove box door in light saddle, but the remainder of the glove box in dark saddle.

  3. The glove box door in dark saddle, and the remainder of the glove box in light saddle.

  4. The glove box door in dark saddle, and the remainder of the glove box in dark saddle saddle.
I realize those are a lot of different alternatives, so if it's too much of a hassle to photo shop all four, can I just see what alternatives #1 and #2 would look like?

I'm guessing fellow PFF member, Alibi, from whose recent thread I copied the above picture ("Glovebox install and interior cleanup"), also would be interested in seeing what these alternatives would look like. (And yes, he had some pictures with less clutter in the interior, but I thought (hopefully correctly) that picking the picture with the fewest shadows might be the most convenient from which you could work your magic in any photo shopping efforts.)

Thanks, 85SEnochie!

I think I'll probably go with a two-toned color scheme for the glove box, and in particular, the "Light Door/Dark Surround" one you've depicted because that seems to go with the remainder of the saddle-colored pieces in the interior, and then I also don't have to be concerned if the paint for the surround portion of the glove box (i.e., everything around its door) doesn't exactly match the light saddle portion of the (23-year-old) dashboard directly behind the glove box:

Actually, the picture shown isn't of my dash but of someone else's. In those places where the dash shown is gloss black, I actually have brown wood grain, darker than the dark saddle we've discussed, but definitely lighter than gloss black.

I didn't mention earlier that wood grain coloration (instead of black) simply because I didn't want to trouble you too much with my photo-shop request, especially given that I'd already asked for 4 different dashboard color combinations involving light and dark saddle.

If you actually could erase the clutter in people's homes in real-life like that, you'd have a gold mine!

Nope.

However, the 4th and 5th pictures in this link I found on Microsoft's Bing are the best I've found so far at depicting the shade of my wood grain dash, although unfortunately, neither was taken at the same angle as the photo shopped dash picture you'd created above: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/386112
