Solid 9s from the dh car this weekend. No major changes except a little different turbo.
I unfortunately scrambled to get my phone to video tape the pass (because my friend said, hey is that scott running?), but his car took off like a bat out of hell.

Went to the track Tue to try the turbo out. hope the image works...left lane #3598.
HX-35 7 blade 17-18 psi @ 16* timing. NO intercooler yet, E85. N*, LQ4 maf, 80# injectors. plain Kumho tires. Need to sell the supercharger stuff and 60's to help offset dr's and a intercooler. Hope the trans stays together.

Id almost suggest against the intercooler at this point... looks like you may have pedaled through it a bit? Time seems a little low when i trapped 119 with my hx35 i was running 1.80 60 with 11.4 times.

I love E85, but its a hassle to get locally. I want to switch back to pump-hence the intercooler need. I have one source for E85 17 miles west of me, most of it stop lights. The other is 65 miles east of me, but only 10 from the track still I am limited to where I can drive.
I am not sure what you mean by pedaled through it?
I agree, I think the time is a little slow for the mph. I felt even my s/c times were a little slow for the mph. I thought maybe weight is an issue. I am about 100# overweight, and I run with nearly a full tank , gauge is broke so I need to keep it as full as possible. I get some tire spin, so dr's may help but I am concerned about braking the stock trans with too hard of a launch. I did not adjust much in the trans shifting or timing pull during shifts, may be some e/t to be had there. The tune is still Iaggy on initial wot, I will be working on that. I can't think of much more for the e/t vs mph. Add all that up though and it may be close to expected e/t though.
I still need to tune the a/f and timing for mph. Need dr's. Maybe add anti-lag. I have had the turbo on for about a week. I used the 2.8" tune I was playing with as my base for the turbo, and only made a couple of adjustments to it before running it. If you have an idea on the missing couple of 10ths, I am all ears.
Any spinning will cause the trap to inflate over the times. Sounds to me that it spins when you come into good boost and it slows you down in the 330ft range. I ran 17psi on 93 and a big ebay water to air intercooler for awhile on my hx35 and ran those wame trap speeds with times around 11.4.

I can confirm some traction loss with the plain Jane Kumho tires I have on there, even with good track prep. Thinking back, I forgot to lower the pressure in them, surely did not help. Log shows a bubble surge in the rpm graph starting about 1.0-1.2 seconds after wot and lasts until about 2.4 second mark. I can feel it get a little loose midway through 1st, which looking at the logs matches pretty good. I guess the cheap tires don't like the boost increase from 8-17 psi . I am hoping to get some DR's soon, that may net me a couple of 10th's.

Took my car the Raceway park on 8/28/15. Did two passes. 1st: 14.006 100.61mph 2nd 13.432 at 101.21mph. I got the slips but not sure how to post pictures.
3800 S/C 3.4 pulley 3inch down pipe y'ed off to two moroso freeflow mufflers then resonator tips. Got video also.
My first two runs the car was down 2 mph but et's were the same as last outing, but I wasn't sure why it was down on mph. Last run I upped the boost 1 lb. (18-19'ish) and built 2-3 psi at the line. It was a good run considering the tires are 205/50R17 Kumhos. The next day I found the bolts holding the turbo on had come loose, I could rock the turbo up and down. I guess I figured out was down on mph, lol.

3 passes from last Friday. Messed up my 2-step release on the first run. Second run was new best 10.007 @135.54, backed up with 10.009 @131.08. Was getting heat soaked by last run and got some KR in 3rd gear so dropped off on back half. Guess I should have taken out the passenger seat to get the in the 9s. Likely parting the car out in the next few months, so watch the mall for GM racing 1" chain, aremet input shaft, billet precision converter, and a bolt on 3800 turbo setup. If interested in parts please PM me, if there is interest I may start taking it apart sooner.
In car of 10.6 pass, can see me reach back and turn off two step after launch, go pro camera flips back from g force when power comes in. Had to tighten mount after this run : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMUSvfVJxik

Congrats on a new best. Pull that seat, and go back on a day with some better air, then claim your 9. Sent a pm regarding trans parts.

I haven't made up my mind yet. Really struggling with the decision. Going to maybe look for something the whole family can enjoy together. Wife, 2 kids and only two seats doesn't make for good family cruising. Thinking maybe a 4 door Chevy 2 or a turbo Buick/Grand National.
Fiero has been beaten on pretty relentlessly for 13 years by me. Over 300 hp for most of that and near/over 600 for the last 3. It's starting to show its unhappy. Creaks and groans have become clunks and squeaks. I've had a blast with the car, but hopefully if I take it apart, the drivetrain parts I've aquired over the last couple of years can go to someone else who can build something and get their share of excitement. I've had this car almost as long as I've known my wife. Even she was surprised and a little sad when I mentioned the possibility. We have had some great memories together with it. Building, racing, cruising, even camping together with the car. It's almost a part of the family.

I FULLY understand. Going through the same here with wife and two kids. Been looking at 80''s F bodies to do an LS swap in. But I just can't get rid of the Fiero. It was my first car over 20 years ago. LOL
Was hoping to break into the 12's but this is probably going to be it for this year. I did have one run slightly quicker at 13.18 but I can't find the slip :/

I sent him a PM asking if he was still going to do the list, no response yet. Someone else may end up having to start a new list as black tree did when the last guy stopped.
