I do like the pop-up headlight speed brakes! Next time tape them down --- ET and top speed could improve.

Did you change anything besides the clutch to get the .2 sec and 2 mph?

Bigger injectors, 2nd fuel pump. Bigger valve springs too I think.

the 207 car was a 60s Pontiac gto? I have to wait till my buddy uploads the video. my first run was a 19.1 I almost snubbed the car on launch. still trapped 76.09 tho so at least its consistent.

I believe that other car is a Ford Galaxy or Fairlane from around 1965-67....or possibly a 1967-8 Mercury Comet...

Either not many updating their times or folks just not doing the 1/4 mile races much? Granted I never purchased my Fiero to run the 1/4 but it is interesting to see how they do down the dragstrip.

Would anyone be interested in taking over the Quarter Mile List? I'm getting out of Fieros. And IMO, the list should be run by someone who is active in the Fiero community. ( plus I don't want to worry about it anymore
)

On 9-22-2021 I took the Fiero to Gulfport Dragway ( in Mississippi) for some test runs after changing the intake and fixing a bunch of vacuum leaks. I did 5 runs. Run 1,2,4 and 5 I took off in 2nd gear using the paddle shifter function of the TCI trans controller. It has a NA 357 ci chevy V8, 4T60-e with 3.43 gears, and I stalled it to 2800 rpm. The car with out driver is 3000 pounds. It is built to be consistent for bracket racing. On the 3rd run I used 1st gear to leave, but I can not stall it very high or it goes up in smoke. This is the same set up that I drive with on the street. The car does have a electric exhaust dump and it was open for all the runs. I even tow my 1/2 fiero trailer to car shows with it.
If any body is still updating this list please update my place on the chart.

Yeah, I'm updating the other list as mentioned above.
Do you have a photo of the actual timeslip itself, and not just your Excel file? If you have one, post it in the new thread.
The photo of the timeslip serves to add credibility to the claimed times, and avoid to bullshit with people saying that so-and-so's runs are falsified.

Yes I do have the slip. ( I have a LOT of them ) but I found that one for you.
The car is a 84 SE with a 85 GT skin, 357 ci SBC, NA, no nos, 4T60-E, 3.43 gears, 3200 with driver, 235 street tires, and a trailer hitch.

Will you add poor driver skill, not enough fuel pump, and a bad tune to my description? 360 at the wheels and that was the best I could muster. In my defense the transmission had already been cracked once from launching too hard. I had a broken dog bone too. I ended up destroying the transmission before I finally sold it (with full disclosure). I did drive it there and home that day and on many more safe trips.
