I'm car #209. I know I got a better time in me. All of my runs were in a 20-30mph headwind. It was really killing everyone's top end. But even still, I'm pretty happy with the result. I'm hoping for a 12.6xx the next time I go out.
I was browsing around old video's and came across my old 14.6 run in my 2.8 with a small spray shot. Its a 2.8 V6 4spd with a Dry Nitrous shot. 14.6 @ 92mph
no pic of the timeslip yet. If i was going to lie i would of at least allowed myself to beat the V6 record. Video to come when dude that videoed me gets home from the power tour.
oh and to update some info, 3800 series II T66 turbo, water/air IC, built 4t65eHD

The low 11's are starting to get a little crowded. This could get interesting.
I also noticed that cars with the Muncie 4-spd are noticeably faster than similar cars with the Getrag 5-spd. Are these guys using the 4-spd with the 4.10:1 final drive?
The 3.65 is almost always faster than a getrag on a 1/4 mile drag race. The short 1st gear in the Getrag and needing to do one extra shift at the top area of track actually hinders a good time. With my 4spd car, I could run 62mph coming out of 2nd gear. IIRC I could run about 85mph in 3rd gear. Also the 4spd weighs less than the 5spd.
The reason I won't use one is strictly due to that damn 4th gear, it sucks on high speed long stretches. IE cruising at 100mph for any length of time. But this is the 1/4 mile list so I won't clutter this up with a trans discussion.
Side note, the 4.10 4spd was so weak, that even with a hopped up V6 would split the case in 6 months of playing. Was even weaker than the Isuzu 5spd Trans.
just looking at this slip, i realized i was running 3 mph slower in the 1/8th than the earlier pass where i went 11.16. Something must of happened on the last half of the pass. I think the car could of gone 10.80 on that pass, possibly faster. Hmmm
Ryan, after comparing your times to mine,it verifies the fact that the supercharger is good at getting out of the hole and through 1000 ft but then they tend to lay down.Where your turbo shows it really comes on at the end wheres its using its boost.Your car did seem to slow down between the 1/8 mile and a 1000 ft compared to my times,I was 4 tenths behind at the 1/8th but onle 2 tenths behind at 1000 ft. and then 4 tenths behind at the end. That shows with a little more tuning and working on a better hole shot you do have more in that old girl. Good job, keep after it. Don

The time is a little hard to make out on the video - sorry about that. Somewhere I have a better timeslip for 13.19 - I'll try to find it. I only only use 1st and 2nd gear to run the quarter - you can hear the 2nd gear decel at the end of the run!

X you'll be mine after this week! 96mph in the 1/8? i know you've got some more to pick up there. good showing though.
i ended up have a vaccum leak, so i pulled everything back off, resealed it and now it works. then i ran into the problem of my pulleys not sticking far enough out. the belt jumps two ribs. so i'm going to the shop tonight and see if i can make my own pulley. i hope you are going to the track friday to pull off a 10.60. you'll need it :P

I ran 99 mph in the 1/8th the pass before, something weird happened. Im not going to the track for a few more weeks. Im not going to need to, cause i dont see you picking up 4/10ths. Anything is possible, but Im not going to up the ante any more until you give me some motivation. I could have this car in the 9's next month if i wanted to. I just dont need to right now, i have too much stuff going on trying to get my shop open.
i could have had a 10.9 with my m90. i'll dig the slip up tomorrow, but i have one with a 6.8-9@103 in the 1/8th. shut down because i saw some knock. less then two degrees, but more then i wanted. my 11.3 pass had a 7.2@97. i'm not sure if i'll be able to compete anymore though. i found out some really shitty news today. i'll update you in pm's.
Obviously I'm pretty happy with the results. There is still room for improvement in my launches, but doing better overall. Got kicked out in the first round of the bracket racing. Car was exactly the same setup as before except 50/50 premium and race gas (I really just love the smell of race gas, no other reason).
I did a huge amount of work on my timing map, took out a bit of fuel, got rid of any kr, and voila! The car is running better than it has ever been. If I can match my best of a 1.74 60ft, I think I can hit a 12.5xx. I'll wait till the weather cools down though. A 12.672@107.96 and a 12.732@109.84 were my next two best runs of the day
One thing that I will note is that lapeer's 1/8 mph always reads high vs Milan and most other tracks. All the other stuff is right on though. I've run a 12.74@106 at Lapeer and a 12.79@107@Milan and numbers were pretty much the same, except for the 1/8mph.
Edit: a perfect r/t at this track is .500, but I was still asleep at the tree anyways, lol.

When I get my turbo on, expect to see 5-10 second reaction times from me.
Looks like HPT is paying off, dropped 4 tenths now! I think you are closed to maxed out tune wise, I expected it to run those 12.6's when you were at the track the first time.
The only thing I would try is like +5-6 degrees of timing in the IAC table and 110 race gas. You would have to pull and plug your o2's, and possibly your wideband.
I Drag raced for the first time ever at the $2008 GRM Challenge. (I have my slip in hand, but no way to post it. Check the website for confirmation. No reason to lie here.)
Messed up on the lauch a bit, and had trouble getting into 3rd. Ran 30lbs in the tires, and that might have hurt a tad. Though they give you unlimited runs,I didn't picture the car breaking the 15s, so I let it rest. The turbo Z-car I was racing said my 60 foot time was good, but I don't know anything about drag racing.
Oh, Stock 2.8 V-6 with 4 speed. (Good in 1st and 2nd, but once it was in 3rd, I had time to read a book.) Lighten by roughly 300 lbs. 225/50/15 tires.
i ran a 13.501 @101.05 mph reaction time=.593 60 ft=1.834 330=5.602 1/8=8.681 mph=82.35 1000=11.297 1/4=13.501 mph=101.05 first time out...car is 365 4 spd...only mods are 3.5 pulley and a N* TB..on a L67
