Other runs last night: 2)12.695@105.81 (What does a thousandths of a second say about consistancy?) 3)12.735@106.93 (Oh, so close to 107!) 4)12.813@105.97
Overall, I had fun beating a VERY nice LS1 corvette by .1-.2 tenth's of a second.
PS- I'll post scan's by this weekend.
I need to update my sig.
245 R17 street tires (no DR's)

11.654@119.06mph. 16psi and 94-octane. I wish I would have bought some 100-octane before I left. I forgot that and my helmets today, but I'm still happy with a new PB.

You better go ahead and update fieroX on the list here. 10.30 is the newest time. He should be able to scan in the timeslip and there is even a video of it now as well.

1 of 2: Graphite Grey Pearl 87 GT 5 spd: 2.8L (Best 1/4 mile: 15.57@87mph, 2.0 60ft) 2 of 2: Ferrari Red 88 Formula/4T65EHD: 97 GTP Motor (Best 1/4 mile: 12.0@118mph, 1.89 60ft w/True Street Radial Tires not Drag Radials!) New Engine on the Road again! FTW Motorsports style!
I dont even want to post this, but I guess it is faster.... I goobered my launch, and my brakes pushed me into the beams.. but I easily ran a 1.7 (most likely in the 1.6 area) 60ft if I had held my car back at the line. and the track was so busy I couldnt get more than 2 runs in 7 hours.
darkhorizon on the left with a 11.6, same mods as before, and PFF name Justinbart with a 11.7 on the right. He has a intercooled HE351 turbo, bone stock motor, 282 getrag with spec3 clutch.
I would of like to get a couple more runs and work on my launch. A taller tire would have been nice too, or some valve springs, The valve float held 4th gear at 5600 rpm which seemed like forever.
These are some seriously fast times and I am assuming that most people could/would do better times with more experience/time and attempts. As dragging does take precise revs and changes. There would be older guys that may have more experience but may love their cars too much to achieve the best times. I would think that a best time is something that is rarely achieved due to either not thrashing it enough or lack of drag driver experience. There just is always a lot of time inconstancies in 1/4 miles which have led to engine swap decisions and discussions etc. Some want what they believe is fastest configuration some want horse power others a balanced weight. I have a stock 2.8 so i may be even mislead in my own mind about the amount of revs required to shift gears between all the possible configurations of engines and boxes. It does however make interesting reading to see just how damn fast you guys are getting. Whaaar
11.53@126.7 New personal best I guess, should have been better. I was shooting for 11.4 at 130 1986 Fiero GT L26 (series III n/a) 1.9 modded rockers, 90#valve springs, He351ve Turbo@16psi, E85 fuel, 5spd getrag, Spec stage 5 that isn't worth a **** .
Anyways it looks like I will now become the FIRST at two things: Verified 2.5 duke on the list 18 Second Club Member! Oh yeah... lol
Here is the timeslip for my fastest 1/4 mile (if you don't read my other thread I said that I probably would have did better than 18.56 as on my last run I did 18.57 and thats with missing 3rd with a R/T of .272 compared to .616 for the 18.56 run) http://images.fieroforum.co...op2010-05-11_008.jpg

EDIT: I don't know why it won't show the timeslip as a picture even with doing the correct IMG coding.....the link is there if you want to check it out.

Currently the fastest and quickest manual trans fiero! Great thing is if he ever finds a clutch worth a crap he will be putting up insanely better times (this was all on low boost/conservative tune/pump E70 gas too).
I was the videographer, and was shivering quite a bit due to the cold and a bit of nerves (drag racing is like deer hunting to me lol).

Every tired cluchnet? http://www.clutchnet.com/search.php?mode=search Lots of options to mix and match the perfect setup. Excellant discs and good pressure plates. I switched to one after my SPEC 3 grenaded and couldn't be happier.
