It has a clean Carfax but looks like it may have flood damage. It's rusted from the rear of the cab back. I just sold the steering rack off of it yesterday. I'll be parting it out and offer it for sale as a candidate for a stretched wheelbase project. If no takers, I'll be crushing it.

Boostdreamer...that VIN you have is only 23 away from the last Fiero made..26402, probably made on the LAST day of production for the Fiero. You may want to consider keeping it if possible. Just saying. Jim

Hey I just picked up if I understand the VIN correctly #25151. It's a Black Formula in very decent shape I hope to have her back on the road this summer. Add her to your list!
I can't believe that my tread is still going around, and the funny thing is I get to add another one to the list, only this one I own.
VIN: 1G2PG1197JP222786 Color: Black Mileage: 82050 Type: GT Motor: 2.8L Trans: 5 speed Interior: (was) Beechwood, (now) Gray. First Title: 11/25/1988 in Maryland.
Fully loaded Black GT, V6/5spd car. Was factory beechwood, now it has 87 GT gray interior. Missing the factory rear decklid, replaced with another GT but missing spoiler. It had black crosslace rims, and now has gray 87 ones. Motor is torn apart, but I have the parts to fix. Factory sunroof, and subwoofer (still works). All other standard options. Only RPO codes its missing are T-Tops, Rear Window Defrost, Floor Mats, Leather interior and Lumbar control (I know you cant get both, but those are the missing RPO).
She's a project car, and in rough shape but it appears that the car has not been in any accidents. The Factory VIN is still on the hood, doors and GT clip. Only thing that was replaced at some point is the rear decklid.

Nice find. My first GT had the sunshade. After I sold the car I found it in my garage. I tossed it in the trash, cause "I was never going to own another Fiero". I've had 5 since then.
Gray interior Automatic Tilt Wheel A/C Pulse wipers Cruise Radio was missing (Don`t have RPO at moment) Black Wheels, rear wider than front ( As expected )
Car is not optioned out very well but I still like it !!!

You couldn't get lumbar with leather seats, so you can't consider it short one option......lumbar and leather are interchangeable, as far as considering one "loaded".
Hmmmm.....I thought I posted my Formula, but I can't find it. It's a fully loaded Formula.....white, gray interior, 5-sp., pw, pdl, rear de-fog., cruise, tilt, air, T-Tops, 178K miles.
Hello Database Guy, I just became aware of this thread and was wondering if you will be or have already published a list of recorded 88 Fiero VIN's in numerical order? I have two 88 Fiero GT's, one being a T-top, that were imported from the US into Canada and I would like to check and see if they are listed on your database. It would also be interesting to know in which Country and City the 88 Fiero's are located. Not sure what you meant by "for the moment it is the original yellow"...but..you may want to keep it that way, yellow is fairly rare, and then a coupe with t-tops is even more rare, add them all up and it's a really nice and rare t-top version car! I would love to have it in that original condition. Jim

I was looking for a Fiero for a while now but struggled to find a Fastback GT that wasn't overpriced. Finally I found an 88 of all years that was sitting in a barn for the past ten years. It ran rough but after draining the old fuel and replacing the fuel filter and adding new gas it runs smooth and idles well. It supposedly needs a slave cylinder as the clutch has no pressure. It also needs a water pump. I just got all of the parts and am having it looked over and tuned up this week. I am so excited to drive it. One question I had that I couldn't seem to find an answer to on here was about the stock wheel locks. The car doesn't seem to have a key to them anywhere by the spare tire or inside the car. I like the idea of having one lug that is a lock but need the key. Does anyone know where I can get the stock lug nut key.

I'm not how many of these things were on *ALL* GTs, but my car seems quite highly optioned.
