Here we go again:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...&hash=item23150ed6be

I like the Targa top, but the interiors "fit" is a bit off. The body looks very Mera like, right down to the exterior door handles.
What ya think guys?

AH HA...PAGE 107 OWNAGE! And mother said I would never amount to nothing.

Yeah, like the Targa, and like the interior color, but the interior door panel NOT following the body contour is hokey--sorry VaTech.

You would think for an over $20,000 dollar car they would buy a $5.00 wash bucket, some $2.00 soap and a $1.00 sponge...then spend $5.00 on Armor All and $5.00 on Gorilla Glue for that console...but thats just me.

Can't be too far--most of the yards are on the SW side, maybe 10 miles.

AH HA...PAGE 107 OWNAGE! And mother said I would never amount to nothing.

I like that the hood does not seem to have the temperature related warping issue the Mera's do. The front bumper is definitely nicer than the stock Mera piece, I wonder if the wheels are 5X100? They look like the real thing. The headlight covers are more correct appearing than the Mera versions. I am still not sure about the black wing. I would think it would cause lift at the angle it is mounted at. What was the reason for this wing on the actual 308's?

The only things I don't like are the Targa (takes to much rigidity our of the car, plus probable water leaks), and the Interior does not compare to the Amida version. Pretty nice kit overall.

I have found your "replacement" car for Mera X, at least until you get her boo-boos all better. This car shouts "you,"
it has your style, your sense of sportyness, and best of all ...it's in your price range!

CHECK IT OUT:

Dan this is interesting, should be fast, and reasonable. It may just be a bad oil seal in turbo. Not a hard fix.

Unfortunately I also have the expense of restoring the toys to a usable state so you would get the bills too.

ok rick............
but so you all know....if its not posted with PIP, minus that recent little server debacle, all photos NOT posted with PIP will eventually dissappear. as soon as that users account (photobucket for example) is forfited, i hear they will automatically, delete.

thats why i use PIP. until a global EMP or something.....i am sticken with the PIP

True, Dan, but it looks like so far like Photobucket has done better than PIP. Anyway, I'll give you all warning if I bail so Wayne can download the one of the snake--or others.

Got a quick question for you Mera folks. I am currently building a Mera style 308 replica and need some dimensions of the deck lid grill. I really need to know how wide the metal is that is used on the grill fins. Not the side to side width but the front to back width of the fins. From pics they look to be about 1.75". How close am I? I am going to buy my metal soon and need to know what width I need.

Thanks in advance!

I am going to buy my metal soon and need to know what width I need.

Thanks in advance!

I just measured mine in the parking lot at work. The aluminum grill slats on the Mera are not flat. The measurement I got on mine is either 1 and 11/16's in. or 4.4 mm. Hope this helps.

Some where in the forum is a thread with everything you need-I JUST CAN'T FIND IT. It shows all the dimensions you need. I'll keep checking but maybe someone else can find it quicker.
