i was wondering where you went.....thought you got another cold snap
Actually we did get snow on two different occasions recently. One time I had to park my car at the bottom of the hill to my house and walk about a half mile up to my home. However, the snow never lasts here. Today is is sunny and clear with temps in the low 50's.
Wayne is right about the 308's performance. A garden variety C5 Vette will leave a 308 in the dust, is much more reliable, and less expensive to fix and purchase.
Top of the page again! I RULE !!!!

Welcome aboard John!
You should be able to get the black plastic window trim from "The Fiero Store" http://fierostore.com/ . The windscreen is exactly the same as on a stock Fiero as on the 308 kits because the windshield/roof section is still the stock Fiero part.
If you have a stock Fiero winscreen ( I have not seen any others on a F308 rebody), the stock window gasket will work. I purchased one from the Fiero Store a few years back and used it on one of my Meras after a paint job.

Welcome to the Nut House John. A good bunch here, for the most part, just watch out for Dan a.k.a. Rattushie666, we believe he is a "guest" at the Michigan State Prison, and only gets to use the computer once a week (thank goodness). Otherwise the rest are OK, even the snake lovers.
Also, is there a build number on your car, it would be on the engine cover?

And as for "Snake Boy": 77 degrees? If I remember right, didn't you have 100+ degrees this Summer, a drought AND sand storms? I will take my snow thank you very much…

The M on the map pocket is cut from a sticker (silver) that I bought a long time ago from Rodney. I purchased 4 gold center wheel reproduction stickers and he threw in a sqare nose sticker with the word Corporate Concepts that I cut off.
Here in Canada it sucks that we need a front license plate. But you're right about making it simple. Just 2 "L" brackets. I tried putting it on the side under the blinker but it looked all wrong. The offset looks good on my Alfa Romeo though.
So is the hype still on for May 5th weekend somewhere in the North East? Forget the trip to Canada. How about a trip from Kalamazoo to Capac? Kalamazoo is central to Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Canada, Michigan.
sample logo for the rally will have the city Kalamazoo & Capac added.
Trip will be just under 3 hours and can be broken up with a lunch in Lansing MI. Some nice senic metro parks and photo opps. A=Kalamazoo & B=Capac
See how close you guys are to Kalamazoo MI.... the trip to Capac can be optional. It's kind of on my way home back through Detroit, but for others it could be out of their way. ------------------ Julian - MERA #8071

Only 4 months till the proposed date of Mera's Across America Rally. Let's try and get locations for multiple rallys down on paper. I suggest that 3 owners are required to call it a rally location. Three Meras from one owner is nice but you would be alone. So the requirement is 3 owners must attend to make it official.
For now I will refer to the North West or the Great Lakes rally to be located in Kalamazoo. This location can change but it still would be in the Great Lakes area. So who is in for this Rally on May 5th? I'm there for sure and I can bet Dan will be there since it is his back yard. Anyone else? Wayne? I'd love to see 8 owners if possible.
Any other sites that you would like to see a rally at? Florida? Hawaii? East coast? West coast? Throw some places out so we can see if there are owners interested. The map Dan made is no longer working so I forget where everyone is at.
If you guys like the logo in my previous post, I will make it as a shoulder patch or a window sticker and make it available to all "RMIP" members (Real Mera in Paradise)

I will take a chance and suggest Columbia, SC. I have four Meras at my house and it would be a relatively convenient location for southeastern area Meras. My house is less than two miles from I 26, five miles from I 20, and twelve from I 77. If I go somewhere else I can only bring one of my cars to the meeting.
Wow Julian, what did you say? It's been days, with no reply?? Maybe your Banana Yeller Mera has no...appeal Sorry I couldn't resist. I don't get my assignments from the magazine I write for until March. Depending on the weather in the area they are sending me, and my deadline, I really can't make plans that far ahead. IF I could go taking the Lake Express from Milwaukee to Muskegon, would help cut out the "Chicago Nightmare," but then that ride is not a cheep date either. Time will tell, all I know is, it would be fun.
There that should get us back to page one where we belong!
I will be trying to make the Kalimazoo meet but no promises. I will be moving to Illinois here at the end of the month...man, I hate cold weather!
What are you nuts, have you seen the weather up here? Then, to make things worse your going to be (gasp)......a "Flat Lander"!!!! Just promise me you won't morph into a (gasp, gasp)....a Bears/Cubs fan! It would be better if you just threw yourself under the wheels of your car
Your too far north to be a Saints fan! Stick with your hockey.
Hockey?.... lol....It's funny how most think that Canadians like hockey....or that since I was born in Italy my kids would play soccer... the fact is this, I grew up coaching my 2 sons in Little League Baseball for 12 years, I follow NFL religiously, I been a fan of the Saints when they were the "Aints".... My wife is the best football fan I know (next to me).... I play serious fantasy football and I use to have 4 season tickets to the Lions. I got rid of the Lions tickets when they had their perfect season a few years back of 0-16. No regrets. My oldest son owns the Packers...well at least $250 shares worth.....and finally, next weeks divisional championship between the Saints at the Packers will be the best game of the playoffs. Winner will take the Super Bowl.
OK, back to the Kalamazoo thing. I will contact NIFE (Northern Indiana Fiero Enthusiasts) to see if they could host the Mera Rally. Seeing that Dan & I are members. It would look great with a lot of Fieros.... They may have some ideas since they are close to Kalamazoo. So it could move a little but still be in the general area.
