Bosco's contacted me. MERA letters are completed (modeled). They have not been chromed as of yet. The total came to $190 and there were four sets made. I will be keeping a set which will leave three sets available. I wil be sending mine to have them chromed at a high end chromer. I expect the charges to be about $200 for the chroming per set. It is not cheap as they are one offs. If you are interested lt me know. Of course, if the chroming is cheaper then you will get a better price, more expensive then the price goes along.

Dan,
I am running out of space in my garage right now so I plan to let you work on acquiring the prototype. If I get a sudden influx of cash I might go for it but have no current plans to do so any time soon.
Yes, either different materials or differing bathes of resin. They will be off to Paul's chroming this afternoon. The four sets so far commited are: 1) JR 2) Larryinkc 3) predmeister 4) (Available)

I been away from this site for almost a year. I see the same people are still here so I don't have to go through a formal hello.... What a crap summer for playing with my toys. My motorcycle, Alfa Romeo and Mera 8071 have not been out of the garage since last summer. On the up side I just purchased a Modular 4.6L V8 with a shaker intake, BRAND NEW never been bolted in any car, only a 12 hour dyno test. Came with a transmission also. Purchased it from a friend at Roush. So now a 1968-69 Mustang is what I'm looking for.

If the car is as it appears in the photos, the price might be right--but it's not, re. the front end damage. The mileage error is reasonable as someone may have assumed the odometer rolled over. The big unknown is the front end damage! You certainly would want more pictures--especially of the Mera sticker under the deck lid.

Has anyone here replaced the front side market bulb on a Mera? What do you have to remove to get to the bulb? This looks to be a project compared to a stock Fiero.
I have heard that there are still some original Mera body panels in a small wrecking/storage lot in the area around Capac...........
Capac looks to be a little past Lapeer which is just east of Flint. With all the Mera's in Michigan I am surprised no one has been there scoping the area out.

Considering all the work to replace the bulb compared to a stock Fiero, that is a good ideal. Also looking at possible LED tailights and turn signals. Just a lot of different LED patterns to consider. The tail lights in semi trailers look to be a good size to fit inside the Mera lenses.............
even tho i had to work i made it just in time they had a car show at the K-Zoo AirZoo today but i had to work till 3:15 pm. but on a chance i went to see what i could and Lo, behold!! this friend on mine from work drove his buddys 308!! i was like sweet....the thing is, it would not start! ended up being a fuse to the fuel relay?? ha!! i was not there 5-8 minutes before it started and they left. so......i did get these

It's a US spec car. Thats why the front bumper sticks out so far. I don't really care for the larger lower air dam on this particular 308. It takes away from the clean style of the 308, and you would have to be very careful in angled driveways, or pulling up to curb stops. Typical early 80's Ferrari electrical system. GM does this much better.

Dan, you should have pulled the mirrors off it! It's a US spec car. Thats why the front bumper sticks out so far. I don't really care for the larger lower air dam on this particular 308. ....and the taillights for that matter they say its a US spec with the Euro Air-dam
