Haha.. That picture is most disturbing.. Maybe if you use something stronger in your eye drops like sulfuric acid you might burn that image out of your eye, but unfortunately the image has been burned into your brain so the damage is already done..

Dano...Its a good thing I can touch type....cuz I've gone blind!

The black is very nice, but a little too much black for me. Perhaps if the side and back grills were maybe gunmetal gray to break it up a little?

as for them pics .
i dont know what that is??? GTBoy or GTirl?....
dont stare too long. you may notice something.

yeah, to much black. i like other colors for the body's of cars because i tint my windows for that Two-Tone look.
looks real good with red. black is sooooo......black. its hard to see the details too me. 2 colors do break it up, some.

GOOD LUCK! i so wish i could give you a run for your money.
seems someone needs to out bid you to see the reserve.
hope its more than what i paid for Mera X.
that one Mera. #7064 i believe, went cheap.
i hope this one #7020 sets a price precidence for early Meras. the Rarest of the rare.

I sent him an e-mail asking for interior pictures and the MERA build number. I will let everyone know what (if anything) I receive in reply. No answer at the listed phone number either.

All Right who got it??????
Mera 7020 went for $8600.
less than i paid for X.
whats up with the resale on these!? i guess if they bought 7020 for a swap its the same thing.
when talking about the 2.8. guess i answered my own ????soo helpful i am to myself
go to the kitcar sites and their panels, with car, mostly the Lambos, are $20,000+.
granted they also have V-8's. but, too me a real kitter should be all over these Meras just for the panels.
why is this sooo....weird? guess our panels are not close enough to the real thing.
this brings a question i asked earlier.

do all Ferrari 308's have the two piece upper rear triangle? on the side view. the "hatchback" part. i think...
see the free hand arrows here..
*EDIT* NOPE FOUND IT...straight down from roof...kinda. please disreguard. i's still learning.

i ask this cuz the F-car pic with Ms. Brinkley above seens to not have this feature....or is it just me??? again
hit it back
Dan

yes dan all real 308's have the hatch triangle you speak of. only deviation is the 288 gto which has a very similar sail panel line but only the rear lid lifts just like a mera.

Try 180 degree headers--F-cars fire on alternating cylinder banks, 180 headers sound like it. There are YouTube vids on the web, give a listen.

OBTW, Fiero/Mera interiors are much better than the F-308s. F-328s got better.

thanks Richard
....180 degree headders you say??
do they sell these at the Fiero Store, hahahaha!
i have seen whole F-Car exhaust systems for well over $2300.
so if these headders are athuentic F-car. way too expensive for me.
would rather have the engine swap. and buy me a coffee with the change.

i am gonna check into a new Fiero only shop near me for some insight.

i want too, in the least, get Mera X to be able to have a worry free summer.

tune up, replace worn parts. and the suspention. the big engine swap will have to wait.

Yeah! a summer of worry free road trips.....
car shows, the BIG lake, camping up North in MI
Rock n Roll shows in Chicago.CASINOS......

hope this is not too much $$$$?

as far as youtube....i spend way too much time there as is....
i love hooking my computer up to the home theater and cranking up the "Exhaust Note" vids.
sometimes it shakes the house....so awesome!
thats when i found that "Vacation" vid at....that vid sounds sooo good.
then theres the opening of the movie-"CannonBall Run" sooo nice. LAMBO!!!

i have been lookin for a good Exhaust combo for ole X, because its still too cold to work on. i know Wuss.....right.
well i am sensitive to the season change.. i mean Winter to Spring and from Summer to Fall only.
started when i turned 30 or so.
see, a couple weeks ago it was over 60 and i got sick. Lung infection.
a combo of bathroon/spring cleaning chemicals, dust/dander and
laying on the garages', freezing cold floor. BLAMO! sick.
i am feeling way better now. but still *coughsuplung* its there.

anywho, i do not need the medicine anymore so big dad is on the mend....prepare yourselves....
its supposed to be like 70 here next week....its on! or should i say..."its off".
time for the sawz-all. and the C.C. lets see what that does

Funny.
yeah...anything can happen for money...
i am a little short this year, already. hahahaha!
its cool you mention Tubi. theres a Youtube vid of a real nice 308 (crimson colored) dyno'ing with the Tubi.

*EDIT*

thats the sound. right there. they are puttin the hammer to it. AWESOME!

when i had a steady job. the money was great, cept no car. i did alot of traveling then. Coast to Coast one year...sooo fun.
every year from 1997-2005....early 2006 is when i started to notice alot more "free time"
it was good then. more time to get aqaintied with my mew digs....but now esh....cant stay employed for 6 months straight.
its killing me...
ohh well at least once its nice out all the time i will have something to do. work on the car.
i need to get my temp gauge fixed. this summer i am going to drive the crap out of it.

It would be nice to see a picture of the Chromodora's on a Mera "shopped" in gold. Maybe using "Fiero in Pairdise's" car since it looks like mine. Anyone who can do this?

I am going for the duller magnesium gold color of the "Scuderia" Ferrari wheels. I could always have them powdercoated silver again later. I just think it will look good with the beechwood leather interior of my car. Possibly adding Fiero "Shields" on the front fenders from "Fierosails" along with yellow center caps with the Fiero Pegasus on the wheels. Sort of a "Fierorrari" look.

Hopefully some of you Mera folks can look at this and see if it is a true Mera. The badging is all present but his interior looks just like a stock Fiero. No leather seats or accents on the doors or center consoles. Make sure to see the larger pictures lower in the page.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...?hash=item2eac0b46e2

Edit to add.....I've never seen a Mera plate on the intake before.

the interior looks Mera. door extention, mirror's with proper controller.
even has the Cromodoras, right guys?? which are rare on an '87.
*******EDIT* nope they are close....i like these rims. wait, are they real F-Car????***********
the seats are probabally a swap out, i am thinking.
but according to the Mera sales brouchure....i think the leather is a Fiero option, not Mera per sae.
so alls good with this one. I WANT IT SO BAD!
then theres that one in CA. the burgandy one.

he sent me this:

took a minute cuz it was way large, 3000X3000 and the such. it took me awhile to figure why it would not load.
freakin huge pic. this is a 75% reduction and its still big.wow.
he sent more but they are very vauge. far away shots and all dark. seems elusive so i let it go.

it's an '88 anyway. no harm no foul.
Dan
