maybe these are "My" articles that came with the car from the seller. they are photocopied pages from the magazine itsself, i do not know how too clean them up. any ideas??? i guess i could edit out my sloppy cribnote, ehhh? it was a stupid ?? i was to ask Rodney..

I think these came from the files I got with my car. I can't find the digital copies, but I can sure rescan and post. Actually, most photo posting sites either reduce file size or not accept high rez files. So, the best thing to do is scan at high rez, clean up and email to all interested--or, post on a file storage/share site like Microsoft Windows Live Sky Drive.
Give me a day or so.

OK, just found some of the digital files. These are pdf files and not very high rez. These can be found on my Sky Drive @ http://cid-d42fccc03b76b32c...m/browse.aspx/Public To my knowledge, no one has accessed this folder--if you experience problems, let me know.

they are some good readin'. i dream that my car is one of them... you know this is something i have been wondering since the '86 PROTO showed up. was there a 1987 prototype? the one in the sales brouchure against the brick wall. i wish i could see the back of that car.i wonder what Mera # that one is?? also, notice in the brochure the one pic is a drawing...no back up lights....interesting, no?

Here is an update on the MERA that was for sale a few weeks ago in San Diego. I offered him the asking price (in cash or wire transfer to his bank) indicated in his ad at that time but he would not execute the deal. Today I received this e-mail from him.
This is a standard letter I am sending out to all the people who want to buy the MERA, BELOW IS A COPY OF THE NEW AD I AM RUNNING ON THE SALE OF THE MERA, PLEASE READ THIS AD!!
67,000MI, 3000MI ON NEW ENGINE, I ALREADY ADVERTISED THIS CAR FOR SALE AND WAS BOMBARDED WITH SO MANY SERIOUS BUYERS THAT I COULD NOT KEEP TRACK OF WHO WAS WHO, SO I HAD TO BACK OFF. I agree not very honorable! Should've done research before putting it up for sale. As I've found out the hard way, until money is exchanged, there is NO deal. That is why I ask for a deposit to hold a car for pick up. I've located cars for people, called them to verify that they want it (with pictures), agreed on deposit, purchased car on the spot and then got stuck with the car. Someone else on PFF was leaving to pick up car out of state and got a call at 6am informing them that the price had gone up $1K.

this story reminds me why i carry a very bad TEMPER in my back pocket. for these same incidents. agreed, on the "some people" quote!
they tried to do this to me on my house. $2000. i walked. in the parking lot, backing the car up and the mortgage guy was all talking. i not listening till i heard "we can make a deal on that!" i got what they called a "subisdy". $75 off the top of my bill for 2 years. it was close. so they took the rest out of my Relators commish.....i do not mess around with money. its was funny watching them squirm...right there at the Title Office. Wonder if they went under?

I spoke with the guy selling the Mera yesterday and declined to purchase it at the new price. I also sent him a detailed e-mail telling him the exact reasons why I made this decision. He then let me know that the car quit after driving it around five miles but would restart after a couple of minutes. That is the last thing someone needs if they want to drive it away!

OK, Dan, time to share--even more! What's your secret to PIP? I never have been able to get it to work.
you know i wish i could write it down and charge $99.99999 but truth be told i found the explaination here whereever and followed. there was a lot of screamming cuz i am very computer dumb. everything is a challange for me on these things...but it will not beat me and i have gotten alot better. the PIP did however, start off real bad for me also. you may have to delete and start over. i know i did. ALOT. my problem is my computer. to this day, this post even, this crapthing is pissing me off. i have restarted it twice to make 2 posts here in 5 mins. something is wrong STUPIDTHINGS...anyway, as long as the program is loaded right and .......WAIT! this just came to me while writing. bear with please. i think i remember something about an ActiveX something or my 'puter had a wrong cookie setting to start off. mind you i do not know what these things are but, Microsoft HELP sure did. i stumbled though some skechy text and some skechy downloads to finally be able to get thru as well as i have. PIP is been reliable for me since. more so than this computer i type on.

After reviewing the photoshopped door and quarter panel mods, I also think that the stock look is nicer.
winner! that was real good. got some people that 85SEnochie is awesome with the P-Shop. notice the blend or whatever with the refelection from my house. ".....this boy is good". just seeing what it would look like. i hate to say it but sometimes i wish this was a orginal design. not soo close to the 308. just a nod....or homage. but i also think that if i can use the side scoops for something (Intake??) i would think differently. just playing i will never do this to a real Mera..... got sticker?
