Fiero-in-Paradise - that is one of my all time favorite kits for the Fiero.
I wish I knew who has the molds for it, if they still exist.

ya dan my favorite fcar of all time is the 288gto. all the fiero to 288 kits look a little goofy to me, nose too long, tail not long enough... so on. but ya real 288's rock.... almost bought one a few years back...

ps dan.... the fcar 288 pic you posted is actually a 308 conversion to look like a 288. a real 288 gto has the rear wheels moved back a little further, 288's motor is set in the car front to back not side to side like the 308 or fiero. and the rear deck lid on a 288 opens like a mera... just the inner piece. if you look close to your pic there is a line in the quarter sail area like a 308 not like a 288 or mera. the 288 is just flat there like the mera.

Kenshin is a former legendary assassin known as "Hitokiri Battōsai" (人斬り抜刀斎?)[note 1] (rendered as Battousai the manslayer in the Media Blasters English anime dub,[4] as Battousai: The Slasher in the Sony English dub,[7] and as The Unsheather on the Japanese kanzenban covers). At the end of the Bakumatsu, he becomes a wandering samurai, now wielding a sakabatō (逆刃刀?, lit. "reverse-blade sword"), a katana that has the cutting edge on the inwardly curved side of the sword, thus being nearly incapable of killing. Kenshin wanders the countryside of Japan offering protection and aid to those in need, as atonement for the murders he once committed as an assassin.[/QUOTE]

a little guerilla photo action.

the big plane in the background is the support aircraft for our Commander in Chief!
the President is in Kalamazoo for their graduation commencement....so i went down to the K-zoo airport for some photo fun!
the cops were like the photo above is in the main driveway for the airport. 10 seconds- Park, jump out, line up and shoot.
whoops....not to loud with the "shoot". then i bugged out. the cops were all looking at me with that look as i drove by. I waved

hey, quick question??
anyone know the RPO code for this option??

a little photo editor fun....
later

close, i looked it up its RPO "M-1" built by "Sherman" hahahahahaaaa. you were close.

well after watching the News if i was i Grand Rapids, MI i could have tried to get the mighty AIR FORCE ONE in a pic.Dam!!!

also i guess they brought MARINE ONE in for the event. this photo was taken in Washington D.C a few years back.

ohh,found another one....

i was in DC for a Rock Concert and went to see the sights.
all of the sudden a tremendous ROAR and blam these were in flight. scared the crap out of me. it was so sudden.
then i paused for the Air Raid sirens to go off. the 'coppers were very close. man that was cool.

i guess since they landed the big plane in Kzoo they had to land Air Force One in G.R. 54 miles away, due to space/storage concerns.
the Kzoo Airport can handle all them big planes.

i could'nt get close to the GR airport even if i wanted too, i am sure.

i believe that the big plane in the 'ZOO is the one they shipped the Presidental Motorcade in. three Limos...maybe some Secret Service support also. such a big to-do in the Kzoo. i love this town...strange things happen here all the time.
in 6 years 2 Presidents.....good times. i always go see what i can see.

Bush stopped by for a campaign stop in 2004......

cool pics dan. update: still trying to find a budget sbc v8 kit to install a fuel infected sbc into 7071. looks like i will keep the 88 test mule for a later build. likely will use corvette c5 complete suspension, f430 brembo brakes, f430 19 & 20" wheels, and i already have a 88 cradle powder coated and a ls2/getrag mounted to it. would be a really neat car with a lotus esprit v8 turbo body kit as well. likely will start collecting parts for the build but will be next yr before i start on it. mike

hey Mike, buddy? i am here.
i have not had much NICE to say, so i say nothing....mama taught me well!
i mean not here on the PFF i mean in "real life". i have been having my yearly "time of the month" month. usually its in Feb. with the winter blahs and all....but this Feb was good.

i have been out earning my 666 so i have been laying low. i am very MOODY! i got no beef here (on the PFF, anywhere) so i left the Fiero community guys out of it

i feel way better now. cars running great. i start back to work Monday!!!!! no engine swap money but it will be something...(looks at Turbo 2.8 L threads!) so i got that good news and the fact that i like laughing at people more than screaming at them, has helped tremendously.

but, you know? the weather is pissing me off also. it wants to rain, all cloudy and such (for weeks, summer my ass) but it never rains. till i take the Mera out for a little spin then the sky opens right up and downpours.....bloody ding dongs on the weather channels dont know squat....ahhhhh i feel even better with the sun out....first, whole day in a week.

so i will be more a particpent .promise! till next year

we recently had a big 250+ car show around here and i saw this in person (this will keep me laughing for a while.)

at least it was on a Trans Am with the 350.....still horrable.....it was for sale $9995 bawhahahahaa......
*EDIT* man the side shots did not download......crap!
bloody awful....288 gto replica....from far (real far) away,at angle, it looked good....but up close...again with the

after i took these, i went to get Mera X to park next to it too laugh at it. but alas, it was gone before i could sneak past the cops to get into the "show". CRAP, TOO!

this Vicksburg car show i was at is a real good one...on Friday the night before i drove down for "cruise night". got a lot of good pings from people and was able to spread....THE TRUTH THAT IS MERA....and up comes a '05 Ford GT parks right next to me.
the driver turns out to be, the owner of the local Ford dealership....guy gets out of the car and is hit by a bunch of people with questions about his car.....he looks over "his" crowd and says to me "nice Ferrari" i told him it was a Mera. he's heard of them and stuff (cool). we talked cars and such....that was fun. good time.

uh ohh! say Mike?
you might know this more than anybody.
is it bad when thunderstorms bow like this????

just dropping by as promised.
but with them bow echo/straight line winds comming at me, not sure for how long!
at least no Tornado Warning yet. i love bad weather. regular storms, in general, are a nusaence.
but severe weather is awesome in its power.
with full coverage on Mera X, i will take the good with the bad. if X gets crushed, SAY HELLO LOTUS TURBO!

still for sale a year and 2-3 months that i know of.i almost bought this instead of Mera X wait you know that. Whoops....
anyway, i could live with that
dan
radar check!

ya dan sometimes strong straightline winds are just as damaging as small tornado's. later this summer/fall i am going to look at building a lotus esprit v8 turbo looking body for my 88 test mule car. then put some goodies back on it susp, brakes, engine wise and make a neat little car. what you think dan?

well the storm was the best of the season, so far, but not much...like 40-50 mph winds..(Chicago got 70+) and it only lasted for 1 hour or so.
the power went out 3 times...
*EDIT* well, after checking the news it was worse than i thought. Tens of Thousands without power, trees and powerlines down all over town...i guess Kalamazoo County got the worst. they recorded a wind speed at the local College (WMU) at 65 mph....thats moving.

the Lotus Fiero sounds good, Mike...do you have to strech it like the Lambo kits do??

and also are you going to have a New Mera built or is that just going to be #7071?? i would like to see your "New" panels on something.

TOMMY! for you, bragh!

its still on there because i dont want to tear apart the wheel well to see how it is attached, ohhh and lazy.
when i get back to work, Monday i will see about getting a label made on the shops label maker....Mera X or something...
time to drive....Later
D

hey Richard. whats up? seems like no one wanted the conv. Stinger....NO BIDS?? seems strange...maybe they will re-list.
could be the VIN confusion and the "International" situation may have played into this for the US bidders. if i had a job all along i would have at least bid i have never owned a Convertable. that Stinger would stay badged "F-Car" if it were in my garage. that is a true 308 kit. perfect.

Mike. really? no streach? i would think that the Lotus Esprit would need a little <-----> of any Lotus, in my opinion. within 1.5" you say? even the Meras are not that close to the real 308....these are the dimentions i have found.....Mera-Width 73"/ 308- 67.71" Length Mera-172"/ 308-166.53" Height Mera-46.9"/ 308-44.09" them are some big differences, again too me

well the suns out early so its time to DRIVE!
till later my friends...... "Stay Thirsty"
Daniel
