I have my MERA letters off the car due to a recent paint job and am trying to clean them prior to reinstallation. I can e-mail you a fairly high quality picture of original MERA letters if that would help. I would also include them with a ruler in the shot to give the proper sizes. Let me know if you want the photo and I will take it this week.

I see about the R though. I'll work on it. I like to do these things for my own as it's good practice for my real job (one of the things I do is recreate old jet tail flashes/designs and squadron patches)... so if no one ends up using any of this, I won't mind.

I picked up a set of stock lace type wheels from Bob Bracey's wife's MERA (a white 88 with an auto transmission) and it came with the black and silver design wheel centers. Maybe the color was a function of the vehicle color instead of the year. Any thoughts on this or maybe she just liked this color better and swapped the centers.

The ones that I have appear to be a black design on a clear vinyl that have been applied to the standard type of Fiero metallic center cap. They work well on the conventional wheels but are too shallow for the 88 Chromadoras.

If you or I can could locate the correct depth and diameter wheel centers, I have already spoken with someone about pricing for providing domed vinyl stickers. There is a set up charge but I would pay that if there is some interest in several people getting sets.

What center caps are correct for the 88 Chromadoras?

I do not really know. Both of my Chromadora sets had the external large cover over the lug nuts. One had no small center caps at all and the other one had Ferrari Horse center caps.

I guess these are the correct Mera center caps in the framed emblems. Anyone have these on their Chromadoras?

I have them on my 88 lace style wheels but they are too shallow to fit on the Chromadoras even though the diameter is OK.

Here is a picture (low resolution) of the centers that were included on my standard lace type 88 wheels. A higher resolution picture is available for anyone who wants it.

I have seen some all original 88 Meras that had no caps under the large wheel caps and some that had these. So it is hit or miss but this is the correct wheel center for the 88 Mera. Since Corporate Concepts was such a small company (maybe 10-15 or so employees at their peak and they made many other products) nothing was set in stone. These Meras were made and shipped out. Variations probably occured.

Rodney,

This is likely one of those CC factory anomolies. The white lace wheels and these center caps came off a white 88 Mera belonging to Bob Bracey's wife (verfied by registration paperwork that I had inbmy possession). This car had both the Chromadora wheels as well as the standard ones. It also had Recarro seats installed and a spare set of gray cloth seats that went with the car.

FYI, I'm already looking into having a couple of companies custom embroider the Mera logo and "MERA" underneath the logo, onto 32oz DuPoint nylon cut mats. I'll let you know what I find out.

Zigaroo,

I think your "MERA" is about as accurate as it can get. The gold and black badge has perfect proportions and will make a great front fender decal ala the F-car. The F-car decal has a green white and red band across the top--wonder what this would look like with a red white and blue band just inside the top black border.

I dunno why the right one decided to appear odd, but it isn't like that in Illustrator.

This car has Cromadoras with MERA center cap emblems. Which emblem is he using? Where can you get them?

How about the heavy black outline surrounding the red/white/blue with a thin black line between the colors? This will frame the emblem on red cars.
