If I had to guess I would say 6325, so far that's the only tag I have found but I have not dug around in the car much as it is on the repair list. Yes it is a round trunk gasket (as I said in an earlier post) but it does have the square offs installed as pictured. Any other views you want to see or more info just ask. If, there is a hole through the metal POR 15 also make a two part body filler which extremely easy to use, and very strong. It comes as two six inch bars of clay like putty that you break off and then knead together, it sets fast and holds like crazy. The nice part is there are no dips and sags like bondo, and there's no clean up.

Resto Guy, What kind of wheels are on the Red 87? Do the rear wheels stick out past the bodywork? I have not seen these on a production Mera. The tailight mounts look different than on my 88 Mera. I think they match Dan's design. Last question, can I have your garage?

nothing personal but Mera #6325 is not possible. there is only ONE 1986 Mera. #6001, has no sticker in the trunk and you Silver car VIN's to a 1987 Fiero. so that 2 X's against it as a #6325 Mera. ahhhh.....the lights are half similar. i have the same looking Reds, i assume Indy's are carello, also. but my ambers are Mera!. also the lack of reverse lights are a dead giveaway. again these facts are well documented in this thread and are proven to be true by Mr. Dickman. as far as the rest of the pics Indy...you got a nice spread....i did not however see this kit you said you still had. what ever happened to this set?? if possible i would like to see your collection in person. maybe we can set something for this spring. you got a lot of Fiero History i would like to crawl in off for breakfast....later yall Dan [This message has been edited by batousai666 (edited 01-26-2011).]

Nice Mera Dana! Are those side mirrors electric/powered? LOL...I suppose that pic was taken earlier, I imagine there's a bit more white stuff on the ground now. Also, what size tires are you running?
Dan, interesting photos. That engine plate looks okay, different, but not my style. Looks like an 88. Hood hinges look different, probably the angle.
Indy, wow, REALLY nice herd you got there! But I love the stable!! Dang, I wish I had a garage like that. (Actually, I wish I had the land to have a garage like that!)
Later guys, Tom

Tommy!! you want to talk interesting pictures.....after indy posted the D square off and finally finding these it seems all Fieros have oval trunks and the GT mod is just a finish piece, carried over. soooooooo if i run with this....all SE Meras should have the oval aluminum side pieces that you all do not have. even Tom and his Formula has the GT pieces because of the fine tuning of the Mera line. the 1987 Meras can only be made out of SE's if not a GT and should have the alumin. side pieces that i have. no one else has these side cut pieces right? All mine have the GT parts for the trunk. Take note that the red 87 is on a GT (the G in the Vin) as well as the silver one. The 88 I have is on a Formula platform as I recall and has the plastic square offs installed. I will check on that tomorrow if you wish, it should be an E meaning coupe with a 9 indicating a V-6 engine. It would be intresting about your theory on the 87 SE trunk. Anybody else here have an 87 on an SE platform? | quote | Originally posted by batousai666:

I know what you mean about the 6325 so far on the car that is the only number that I have found. It is only interesting to be on the same paper as the paint code as the rest of the Meras have indicated. The red lights on the silver car are indeed Ferrari lenses, I can't recall the ambers but I will check for you. That kit car is out in a storage unit as it sat on the trailer, I have yet to touch it. The chassis it is on is damaged extensively up front under the radiator support and back (totaled) that is why it has a new front clip sitting on it. Anytime you want to make the trip, come on down be nice to see you. [This message has been edited by Indiana_resto_guy (edited 01-26-2011).]

right on friend the spring summer count on it. as far as your yellow lights i can already tell that they are Carellos also. the same backs dont you know the only other SE meras i know of are the Proto and Mera #7029 which is on my to buy list when i go back to work! its got T-Tops and a sticker....the guy when i asked him if his trunk was round or square. he seemed confused by the question but said it was round-er.so to me being that it is obvious weather its either/or. i believe he might have the round alum. blank off too. jolly good show! so i say as of know the SE's still have round trunks even as Meras (unconfirmed) for now now to get next to the Proto-type trhis Feb. in Detroit. guys hard to get a hold of.....creiky. heres a VIN code observation.....that silver car.... 12/86 prod. build # 26325 My Car- 10/86 proud.# 09384 thats alot of cars in two months. now i got to dig that letter out that mentions the "New Leather Interior" but we may have narrowed down the time frame as to where this Option was available.....with it in your silver car. i really like that. and i hope to find a Mera for sale in the future with it. that grey is slammin. i think Mera #7005 has it too. sweet....FLIP!! awww man you beat me by 10 minutes.....i was gonna say that this sale will make me feel real good. the 1 bid is over half what i paid for Mera X with the $724 shipping from FL and after two seasons of no worry, lead footed driving to the hilt!! i am chuffed to bits, that i am! since you got that one i was also eyeing this with the 3800....... and the blackout!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot...&hash=item4aa7f7ac22HEY WAYNE? seems with Indy we gots ourselves a little Tri-State Mera thing going on. i got some paperwork with like 8-9 more Meras that have been in MI at one time or another. but with "us" the known Midwest Meras....we should get something togeather Mera wise for the FieroRama in ST. Charles, IL. maybe the rest of the Mera Kids will come too....RICK, MIKE, NELSON......and for me, most of all TOMMY. with or with out his car. thats the best showing we the Meras will get and last year they podcasted or something. i will just sit in the back and stare at the sun or something GETYALLSUM!! Don't those wheels come with the center caps? Edit to add: I think Rodney sells the stickers that say "Mera" to go on the non-mera factory center caps. [This message has been edited by psychosurfer (edited 01-27-2011).]
