actually it was easy. its all on the internet. you just have got to spell it right. i have had your FB page for a while. heck i even Googled you and saw what looked (from space) to be a MonsterTruck track in the backyard. thats all I needed. that combined with the Truck pics on that page is all it took for me to be satisfied. i also see you have a lawnmower.....cuz your grass is short! hahahhaaaa.......
today, all i needed from you was permission to post that FaceBook page. the rest is settled. i hope
i mean you think i was going to send you money and not find out how to get a hold of you should the need arise
Goodnight.....
Daniel *edit* ahhhhh.....page 70 is mine!! bwahahahahaaaaaa.........

Well, IF it was a factory installed item, and your an "original, as is purest" - leave it alone. BUT: Can you live with it like that, knowing every time you walk out to the car its the first thing you are going to see?
My reverse lights are straight, but you'd think they would have it right by the time they got to 8046. As I looked to see if they were cut, I found that a visitor had come and gone--the joys of living in the desert.

For now I will leave it slightly off kilter. You really have to be looking to notice it. However it will probably get straightened to line up with my next project.
Currently all the emblems on mine are original to the car. I am contemplating removing the 2.8 emblem now that it is a 3.4 but I need to come up with some suitable replacements. The actual displacement for the 3.4 PR is 3.35 liters. So I am thinking "335 GTS". How does that sound? Or if you go cubic inches, I could get away with an actual Ferrari emblem. Ferrari made a smaller engined version to get by european displacement taxes called a 208. In cubic inches 208 is very close to the 3.4's displacement, hence "208 GTS". Which one sounds better? I am calling for a vote.
my verbage posted from the other mera thread here in the general chat;
rodney wont share info about the mera archives he supposedly has. and i have only seen like 2-3 pictures of his car on the entire pff. a car that he ferrarized because hes not much into meras anymore or not into helping the mera community lately other than to push his weight around in other avenues to steam roll people. what has rodney done for the mera community in the last several years? im not talking his fiero parts im talking mera specific? does he share the cc video he supposedly has? or the archives he supposedly has? i dont think he has them... wheres proof of them? not just pictures, because pictures can be faked, but actual copies to dan or nelson or indiana or someone here that can prove he has anything other than an old vin list.
ok rodney... heres your time to own up to your own words. "if mera7 is gone i will rejoin the paradise thread and share the mera archives with the mera owners..." lets all see if he does that. i doubt he will because he is not a man of his word... but we shall see... i will be getting the insta ban soon as i have turned fair play on the dickman doing what he did to me the last two wks. but its ok for him to do it and not ok for me to do it... if thats the mentality of the fiero world then so be it. happy motoring to all and thank you for your time, mike in oklahoma
what has rodney done for the mera community? nothing. his facts are wrong. he states all 87's were gt's and all 88's were formula's and that 247 were made. documents from corporate concepts prove 87's were se's and gt's and 88's were gt's and formulas. bob bracey himself states only 238 meras were built. so if rodney cant get the simple facts right what else is he wrong about? why isnt he sharing the cc video he supposedly has with the mera community? why isnt he sharing the cc archives he supposedly has with the mera community? i just bring this up for everyone here in the mera thread to ponder... what has rodney done for meras lately... im not talking fiero parts... im talking mera specific.
morning from new Zealand, A little bird told me you may want to sell the Mera could this be true, im looking at buying one! Cher Bra
The person you want to contact is Tom (Fiero in Paridise). Pics of his car are posted on page 1 of this thread. Send him a PM and see if he is still interested in selling.

Not true. Several months ago I sent batousai666 copies of all the Mera newsletters I produced. 8 or more plus copies of several historical data sheets, magazine articles etc. To date batousai666 has yet to post anything from any of these Mera Registry newsletters and various copies. Nothing. Not one thing. But I get blamed for with holding Mera information? I started the Mera Regisrty about 18 years ago. At that time I was new and very enthusiastic. 18 years later I don't have much of that enthusiasm left anymore.
You know, I'm not a Mera owner nor will I ever be one but I cannot believe how the hell this rivalry started. Rodney has had the Mera registry forever and is a great person to deal with online and on the phone. He has provided parts for the Fiero for years and has a very good reputation. I don't understand anyone challenging his integrity when it comes to these cars. As far as Mike goes, I have never questioned any of his vehicles and have dealt with him online a few times. Seemed like a pretty striaghtforward guy. I am VERY surprised how the insults started flying. It is not like the Mike I have seen on this forum.
To put a "wrap" to this whole thing, I call upon Mr. Mark Twain. Quote:
"Always do right. This will gratify some people, and astonish the rest."

This is true for the general population. In my opinion Mike is a pathological liar and in his mind he feels he always told the truth and never lied. So I am sure he will agree with your statement above.
with that said Rodney, i humbley thank you.... now with what you just posted, i feel free to do so. thank you.
i hope we can put this behind us and start a new. that is all i have ever wanted and you all know this. it is all in this thread.
i did not post the letters for your copyright and out of respect of your work with the Meras.
i have millions of questions about the letters and would love if you could send me some of the Mera Archive stuff. i will buy it from you and/or pay for all shipping included.
i have only ever wanted to blow open the mystery of the Mera and want to get them included into the "Pontiac History Books"
i hope this will be a new dawn on the Mera as a car and as a community.
Daniel
PS prepare your eye balls people tis the "Mera bible" a commin!!!
so let it be written so let it be done!!

whats to gain if i prove Mike to be a "Good Guy?"
i have plans to "sneak up" on him with a visit. he does not know this, for he is banned. but to me thats the only way i will find the Truth!
When I joined Rodney's Mera Registry I received a large envelope with newsletters, articles, an original Pontiac Mera brochure and I also got a VHS copy of the dealer Mera promotion video. Around 2000 at a snowmobile show I met Bob Bracey! That's right, Mr. Mera himself talking about his snowmobile designs. He specialized in twin track snowmobiles such as the Raider, Manta, Roamer etc. When I got to speak to him I introduced myself as the owner of Mera 8151 which caught him off guard. He seemed nice and took a moment to talk to me. He remembered my car was one of the cars put together at the last minute as Ferrari was breathing down their neck. I told him I had seen 8150 but knew of three people claiming to have 8152 but none of them had the sticker on the rear hatch. So I asked if the un-numbered cars were built after mine to which he replied there were about a handful but all built before my car. Weigh in here Rodney at anytime. A little more small talk and he had to go, but he took my email address and did send me some PDF articles. Not the build records Rodney has but articles probably most have already seen. I believe Bracey died in early 2003. Anyway to post PDF files here?

You might want to PM batousai666, Dan has helped me post photos several times. Just e-mail the PDF files to him and he should be able to do the rest, can't wait to see this. WWP
