NICE!!
send the photos to esmulder@att.net......as long as they are not pics from a Phone. them phone pics dont work for me.....or the PIP, not sure which. some images off phones do not fit the Pennocks posting formats, i think.
i am a low tech guy but can figure some stuff, but them cell photos kick my ass, everytime.
Good luck with the Mera hunt.....i bet we could get a good deal on the SanDiego yellow Mera. if memory serves its Mera #7029.
is there any way to tell?? we found some cool Mera only traits on the CC Mera molds.( the air box is one) so is there a mold line or a seperation line that is "Corson" only??
with that V8 i would rock this car, totally! i am a Lamborghini dude, but this F-Car kit, is me all day .... and if it does, indeed turn out to be a Corson, all the better in my opinion!!! *EDIT* ohhhh and it needs that killer rear spolier......ohhh yeah!! d

Folks built Corsons on all year Fieros. Corsons built by Randy Corson were built on 84 - 86 Fieros. Most Corsons were sold as kits to be put on whatever year Fiero the builder chose.
hahahaaaa......i got the same problem, but its from excessive speed i have been driving, Mera X to work......45 miles one way Sat i got into it with a Z06 for about 25 miles.......lets just say, cuz they got 505 hp, dont mean (they) know how to use it.
so got him wrapped up in traffic....he was from OH and needed the main exchange to the East.....hahahaa i closed him in the fast lane so he chose the HP advantage to use the right to pass, but alass there was a car there.....IE...why i was in the left lane to begin with.....so i let him over into the left lane to pass the car in front of him to make the off ramp, East.....he gave the thumbs up and then motored on, rather fastly, 100 mph easy.....that was fun.
lesson here is if you ride the left lane ride at 80 plus.....hewe sure did........

KEEP THIS FREAK'N HEAT IN TEXAS WHERE IT BELONGS!!!
I think my Mera is melting?
Waynum pi
" I'm melting.......melting..........melting " My wife is a big Wizard of Oz fan!
You stealing my heat Waynum??? So that's why I was feeling a bit chilly...... As far as an A/C evaluation: You could hang beef in my Mera, except it won't fit. My wife always complains how cold it is in my car. I run the A/C constantly. With the 3.4 I installed the A/C does not affect the performance. I drive over a 5000 ft pass five days a week. I can climb it at 60 in 5th gear with the A/C on Max. With the 2.8 it I had to do it in 4th even without the A/C on. I love the torque the 3.4 puts out.

I was looking at that notchie....... no a/c though is a deal killer. I'll admit it, I'm a wuss. A/C is mandatory for me.
That is my buddy katatak's car. That car is a hoot to drive. He built it as a toy to have fun with on cruise nights. Here we don't have any humidity to speak of, so it is not as hard to deal with the heat. In Florida you would probably be miserable. All the work on the car has been done well. My wife already told me NO!
Richard, Is that smoke or a "haboob" in the pictures??

I am reconverting a Mera from a F308 configuration back to its original one. I should have a set of amber/clear lenses for sale then at a very reasonable price. Too bad that I do not have them with me right now since I will be in Lake Placid this evening.

Lets see if I got this correct Richard: Dust storms, 110 degree heat (dry or not that's hot), snakes, scorpion's, 3 lb spiders, plants covered in thorns, residences average age..deceased, average car...Caddy or Buick with handicap sticker, average dress..plaid (2 different patterns @ once), Supper at Denny's by 3:30 (before the price goes up), A "fun time;" feeding fried pigeon's in the park, Or...watching the aliens jump the fence, learning Spanish so you can order the "Grand Slam" at Denny's, and last but not least...living in largest litter box in America.
What can I add after, "I drive my Mera/Fiero all year." Oh, well, perhaps; max humidity in June around 5%, min daytime temp in January around 50F, don't need to worry about "P" seals leaking, rust? we got no stinking rust.
"Aliens"? Hey, they were here first, so who's the Gringo?

Haboob--the bad one was a week ago, this was just a little Ghibli
I like my Ghibli's with a trident on the grill. Seriously, that is the first time I have seen a wall of dust like that. When we have dust storms here they usually come up gradually until you can't see the mountain. I'll still take dust storms over tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, bitter cold and being buried in the snow. On bugs we don't have roaches, the scorpions get em! And, I'll take 100 degree heat with 5% humidity over 80 degree heat with 90% humidity any day.
We don't have a large retirement community in El Paso yet, but more retired military are settling here because of the climate and great food. Waynum, don't forget with the plaid shorts you need black dress shoes with full length white socks to complete the outfit.
El Paso is a border city. The Spanish and Mexican influence gives El Paso a unique personna in style of homes and buildings, types of food, and many other things people who visit here really like. Unfortunately, our sister city Juarez has fallen into the problems with the cartels in Mexico. Fortunately, those problems have stayed over there, and life in El Paso has not changed other than people here do not go to Juarez like they used to. It's too bad as it used to be a lot of fun to go shopping at the mercados. Juarez used to have quite a nightlife as well, with lots of nice clubs and restaurants. Many of those business owners have moved to El Paso, and built their restaurants and clubs here.
As far as the desert, It can be very pretty. I really like the mountains that bisect El Paso. I have hiked all over them and have not been bitten by a snake yet! I guess the snakes respect us fellow desert rats! I have not seen a 3 lb spider yet, but we do get Tarantulas. Maybe if you go up towards White Sands where they did nuclear testing in the 50's. Those spiders may be hiding out there......
Richard, what is this "rust" thing you speak of???

Well said, Rick. You don't have to be in a border city to enjoy the enchantment of the Spanish/Mexican/Indian culture--Phoenix is not that place, by the way. But all of New Mexico is--go there and find what Georgia O'Keefe found, "If you ever go to New Mexico, it will itch you for the rest of your life."
OBTW, El Paso is really in New Mexico ;-)
OK, OK, a bit off topic.

Oh brother, you guys read like the chamber of commerce! It's not my fault your stuck in "kitty litter." Say isn't it down there by you boys that some desert rat is always being abducted by "alien spacecraft" and having strange sexual experiments done on them? Come to think of it, that's probably your biggest attraction. As for cold, we can put on more clothes, how much can you guys take off for the heat, or rather how much "should you" take off? Rust? That's for our trucks, our "good cars" go sleepy-bye for the Winter, that way in Spring when everything "Greens Up" and our world is fresh (you remember "fresh") we get to enjoy our cars all anew, much like a virgin bride, not some old everyday, pitted, ridden to death streetwalker. Yep, I feel for you boys, stuck down there, and those mountains? Just to keep you "in" and from escaping into the real world. Sad so very sad, if your good I might send you a bag of Fall leaves
Just official: 100 degrees with 80% humidity (if I wanted to live in Florida I would have moved there!)

HAHAHAHAAA!!!! dont let Wayne fool ya this HEAT SUCKS!!! a dry 107 would have felt like heaven on the roof at work today. all cloudy, a hint of rain. but by NOON, all cloudy burnt off and the heat index shot up to 107 today in minutes. the rain from the morning turned to hell on earth!!! Mountains are a giant comfort, compared to our "flat" hills and claustrophobic trees. i love to get HIGH Colorado got me hooked. trees block the view but are cool for the privacy they provide from nosey neighbors and the misc. red car owning, PeepingToms
also, for me anyways, the Chicago/Detroit/GrandRapids,MI MegaMetro-plex, breeds stupidity and malice toward the average commuter. and then i fly by at 90. Ha, you guys are safe in the Cat Box, i love cats......meow!! sooo you two are my "cool desert Cats"
heck i just checked the local weather.....94 degrees...Humity 54% "feels" like 104!!!! that math SUCKS!!! i can do cold did all winter in the house, no less....but this awefull heat kills me, and i am a madman!!!
blimey.....gimmie a side arm, them snakes and rodents, spiderpillars....whatever. but keep your damn heat, to yourself. i will keep my humidity, cuz i like the foggy mourns......i tend to be a Morning streaker for fitness
hahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Actually, we plan to build our retirement home in New Mexico. Richard, you are right, New Mexico has some beautiful areas, hudreds of years of history, and a nice climate. As far as the rest of Texas is concerned, El Paso is the largest city in the state of New Mexico anyway. We are closer to Los Angeles than to Houston. If I want trees I am 90 minutes away from the tall pines in Ruidoso, or the Gila National Forest, and in 60 minutes I can be "Sand Surfing" on the white gypsum dunes of White Sands NM.
Waynum, I have not seen one Alien yet. Maybe they are afraid of the Mera. I am trying to convince my wife to go with me to Roswell during "Alien Days". I figure we have the best chance of seeing one there.
Hey LEEEZARD...... Do you have any pictures of your Mera posted that I missed? Inquiring minds want to know. How about some geography lessons from your part of this planet? Any 3 lb. spiders, or space aliens in your backyard?
