Thanks, still I need to finish a lot of stuff....! The stock stick shifter will easily fit through the boot, I too have a shortened shifter (with the bend cut out, +/- 2" shorter)..the layout was then done with the shifter centered in neutral between 3 and 4...the right height of the boot/shifter knob combo also depends on the midconsole height and the shifter knob size...with a little attention it will look great, good luck!

Well the work has restarted on the Widow. I got the wing done. Installed the TLG wing struts had to sand and prep the underside of the wing and struts then paint. Also had to figure out a clean way to hold the 3rd brake light. DONE !!! Man do I like HOME HARDWARE stores Here is a pic, ready to install back on the Widow, of it all done and the LED 3rd brake light lit up.
I will start posting the lambo doors install vids tomorrow..... MORE TO COME !!!!
Jonesy -- due to the status of the spaceframe this conversion is on hold... I'm looking for an 86 GT manual with sunroof in a rolling chassis NO RUST... for a 2010 -2011 swap over. Then I'll do the notchie with fastback tail light conversion ....
Oh my! You have a lot to do there my Canadian friend. I saw the TLG stands in the other thread. They really do look great.
For not being a mechanic, it seems that you know what you are doing. Good luck with the build. I really want those hinges. I don't know when, but they need to arrive at my doorstep.
