Went to the 2nd Annual Red Bull Military Appreciation Day Car Show in North Branch today. Started out windy and rainy but ended up sunny and warm.

Taken at autocross last weekend. That's my 5-spd Formula on the left, a friend's '86 GT in the middle, and another friend's Porsche 914/6.

Seajai, what is that engine, and why does it look to be longitudinally mounted?
Very nice looking engine. Looks like it belongs in there.

88 Formula with 86 SE Aero body panels Gonna be a 3800 SC 5 speed with tons of custom bits once she's done, hopefully by the June 27th Carlisle show.

I don't want to post them in a second thread... but I just posted a couple pictures that I took a few hours ago HERE. Hey, if you'd like to see a slightly modded Formula, it's worth a peek.

Technically, I guess it's still Saturday, since I'm still awake. Some garage pics. Please pardon the clutter. I'm in the middle of several projects, and my wife is building a shop in the other half of the basement. There's stuff everywhere. .JPG) .JPG) Not nearly as sexy as the twin sidedraft carbs, but it runs a lot better. .JPG) And bringing up the rear... .JPG) The Automoda is getting the brake system rebuilt. I replaced the front calipers and pads last week (one of them had a piston dragging) as well as the master cylinder. Tonight I replaced the rear calipers and pads because one of the calipers had a frozen bleeder. When I get that sorted, all it will need is some final cosmetics. The gray one needs a clutch, although it's still driveable. We've got a show on the 11th, and I've got five weeks between then and RFTH to get it replaced. Fun.
