In this case, the rear calipers were likely original and the piston seals leaked, so the pads looked like this
If you've ever seen paint loosened by brake fluid, you know this look. The pads are all swollen from the contamination as well ... it was exciting when the fluid started cooking, so much smoke for so little movement!
It is an early 90's Camaro optional high-wing spoiler. I had to do some modification to fit it properly. Saw acouple of them on cars here on the forum and added it when I repainted it.

4.9 5-SPEED BACK ON THE ROAD! I've had the car apart for the past 8 weeks or so. Dropped the cradle so I could replace the Isuzu (blown 2nd gear), but while I had everything out, I took care of all the things that needed tweaking. New fuel pump, new fuel sending unit, new fuel pressure regulator, new fuel lines, swapped in fresh Bosch III injectors, re-did the engine wiring harness, new gaskets, welded a busted motor mount, repainted the exhaust, replaced rear calipers, etc., etc. Next up I will be installing a Driven Visions Corvette style light bar. It's already prepped and awaiting paint. LOVE driving this car!

...and here are today's shots of the interior. Gauge package is Omega Kustom Instruments. I like the clean and classic look. I

Beautiful car! Now I know what my lil car will look like once she's painted black! I wasn't sure what the black molding was going to look like (black on black) but I can see it's good!
