We had a Cars for a Cure (cancer) show yesterday in Miami Lakes Fl The classes were broken down to years. I was in class 1980-1989 As you can see, I was very lucky to win my class.
The black Corvette above took second place. He is STILL a friend of mine.

So then on the next night, I went to another cruise night that normally is very import-heavy. The C8 here being an exception.... It was still early. By the time it got dark this little parking lot was filled to about four times it's capacity with cars. Mostly imports but also several Mustangs and Focuses, a couple Neon SRT4s, a turbo Cobalt, etc but just one Fiero.
My 85 GT as of last week. Nose surgery is almost complete. Still need the rubber air dam to complete the transformation. Not having any luck getting one. Thanks goes to Patrick for reminding me of what was needed to do the swap over. Kit
No tweaking was needed. Yes, you were right though as the coupe / Formula wheel well liners are slightly different at the front edge. (Where it meets the fascia) Kit
First purchased by my Dad and delivered May 1984. Probably one of the first Fieros in the Sacramento region. While we made the deal almost four years ago, I never pushed him to surrender it. I could tell even when he delivered it, he wasn't ready to let "Sting" go. Finally picked the car up this weekend! It was hard to resist other Fiero deals over the year, but I know "Sting" was inbound (and so did my wife. While I may have had up to three Fieros prior to marriage, I also lived in rural S. IL with plenty of space. Urban California living, not so much space and as it is, the car is in her spot for now.

Decided on a whim to drive an hour to Grand Haven to see the sunset today. Took my camera to hopefully get some shots, and eh, i got a couple.
Focus didn't turn out too great, i couldn't tell on the camera's display if focus was good, and the sun was so bright in the viewfinder i couldn't see clearly lol
What the hell, this just makes me feel old. Half those cars look like a trip to the grocery store when I used to live in that area (1990s). Now it's a car show. Nice cars though, not as weathered as people's daily drivers were back then.

Hmmm, I’ve not seen someone do this on a fastback. Regarding the wheel well liners. I believe only the front lower bottom outer section of the liners are different between the aero nose and coupe nose. I would think you could make the aero nose liners fit with a little cutting and drilling of holes. Kit
First off, I am cheating because this pic is from (Approx') 2016....Second, I then modified the pic with an idea I had for a bit of contouring of the rub-strip on the 87-88 base-car nose. This is my 1985 SE V6 with GT fastback body plus 87-88 base car nose- and no ground-effects. Drove the car stock from 1985 up to 2010- and then the paint started going on the upper surfaces...Auto-body friend quoted $2000 for a re-paint, so I decided to "Go with factory paint" (from the junk yard)
