Picture actually taken yesterday, but found on internet today. Went to Waterford Hills Road Racing to watch Shelby American Automobile Club (Motor City Region) run their cars. My car caused quite a stir there, to point that the SAAC Editor may do an article on it. There sure were a lot of camera's clicking away on the California Kid !
I kinda liked Xenia, tho I didn't spend a lot of time there. Lived in Wilmington, then Middletown, then Waynesville, all from '86 to '99. I loved southwest Ohio.
And I too am in IT. Well, I'm an operator - AS/400 and mainframe.
Oh, and my Fiero is still under the cover, so nothing new to show.

It was a perfect night for a cruise. 75ish degrees....clear skies....and I had a freshly repaired convertible Fiero waiting in the parking lot when I walked out of work. To top it off....there was even a nice cigar waiting in it. So...I light it up....and take the long way home. As I get back to Old 421, I come to a stop and wait for a Neon that I thought was going way too fast. No prob...I will just let him get in front of me, I was in no hurry. Still....I caught up with him about a dozen curves later. He really was going way too fast. Man....what a way to kill a perfect evening....
Out of respect for the victims, there will be no pics of the Neon. Two 17 year olds and a 16 year old. He took the curve too fast....went wide into the other lane...met a car coming the other way. He lost control trying to avoid it and hit the ditch....really hard. They had to cut the top off the car to get to them. One driven away in stable condition....the other two were being loaded into the helicopter when the pic was taken. The driver may not make it.

Just one more reason I am all for bumping the starting legal driving age to 21.
