I would say it's a mid 50's Mercury, based on the grill and hood shape. I would've said Vette too but that seems to have already been denied.

To me the way the hood meets the engine compartment and the depth of the fender to tire makes me want to say MG but that would be a suicide machine!!!

That dash is so distinctive, and familiar. Where have I seen it before?

You have to be getting pretty excited to know that you're about to get that paint job you've been waiting for.

We can't wait to see it.

No problem at all, and ya gotta send kahines the money via paypal. He isn't good at answering emails or anything, but everybody says you get the product very quickly after payment. He's one of those people who have a job, and do that on the side.

I bet that would sound a whole new kind of mean in a fiero. That would be combing my dream car, with my car that has so much planned. For some reason I want to really go out on a limb, and ask if its a ford galaxie.

While we are waiting for some pics of Jim's car you can keep guessing.

This Green convertable was on display at the same show too.

That was a wrong guess. Then & now

I've shown a picture of the car & I can only think of 2 more clues.

Asa,

Thanks for posting - I wish my schedule wasn't so crazy right now - I have to get over there and see it - maybe Thursday or Friday late afternoon if I can get off work, but Saturday for sure if I can't. Need to bring you the new taillight assemblies.

Yes - I thought about it a lot - back and forth - finally decided to go with the less is more philosophy, since I was adding the chin spoiler and the hood mods - I do like whodeanies setup though! Thanks for the compliments!

I'm glad you passed on the idea. If anything-use you your own design instead of the Ferrari.

Great updates! The wheels never seemed to do it for me before, but now with that yellow they look ten times better to me. I like the 'less is more' philosophy, its worked great so far!

edit: ha, that post above mine was not there when I wrote this up, but great minds must think alike!
