Ok this post is for steve i sat up till midnite workin on this so I hope its what u were thinkin of I had to borrow the pic of the fiero off the forum so if its one of your cars sory i needed a white one to start with!!
OK guys here is how I will be painting my gt since I am up messin with paint ideas!!!!
I like that black-over-red treatment, and in particular the second one you've depicted, where the wing also is black, thus making the entire upper part of the car black. To me it has a classy look to it, reminiscent of the relatively uncommon (only 151 sold) black-over-red "Woodward Edition" of the year 2000 Plymouth Prowler. (Do an "image" search on Google of "Plymouth Prowler Woodward" and the first half dozen or so thumbnail images that show up will illustrate what I mean by the "black-over-red treatment" on year 2000 Prowlers which I just referenced, even though on my ratty monitor at least, some of those pix come across as black over fuchsia, a color combination they never made for those cars.)
i am still working on the maroon over black it has been a bit of a issue cause the black makes the car dissapear in the pic so ill find a stock photo of a black fiero and just add the maroon to it
hey maby we should do it within the next week or two school starts soon and alot of us with kids will be tied down after that winter is coming fast lets get the cars together for a pic!
I'm curious what you have in mind for side mirrors. With the changes in lights, chop top, and door line, you are making the car into a minimalist wedge shape. Following that, cameras instead of side mirrors would be the next logical step. Expensive, but cool.
Chris!!!!! answer the man!! and post some pics of your progress id come down to look but I am swamped at work with overtime grrrr I hate 12 hour shifts in a hot ass building!
hey alittle bump with a progress pic, got the sail panel windows in and ugh I realy dont like them they fit horrible i had to seal them in to make the seam look alittle better and they are a major blind spot being black they will be cut when I chop the car
Hey RAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this would look better in your driveway!!!!! buy it!!!!!!!!! or its going on craigslist soon I need to get it outa here!

I definitly will be putting mirrors on the car and not cameras. This car is not a daily driver so I'm not as concerned about side visibilty so I will be going with smaller mirrors. I haven't decided what route I'll go, I want to finish the doors first. Sorry for the slow response, I was on vacation
Hey guys I have a bunch of leatheret I cant use for my interior project, it just dosent match so I am thinking of building a whole bunch of shift boots with it anybody want one? I have here samples of a auto and a manual I can take pattrens from so if u want either one let me know and ill try and make one for ya.
Hey all, just posted on your Central WI post and then seen you moved to this new topic name. I live in Pelican Lake, between Rhinelader and Wausau, real close to Antigo. Would love to meet up with some fellow Fiero owners and go for a ride as soon as I find a cradle and control arm. Hope to see you in the future, feel free to shoot me a message.
so guys when should we get together next?? I may have a hot date/camping thing next weekend so thats out but maybe in a few weeks?
and welcome parastatic! we all have parts of sorts and trade back and forth whatcha got?? lol
I have a 84 2m4, its really rough but I see a lot of potential in it. But I badly need a cradle for it, and driver side rear control arm, after that it will be back on the road, I saved it from the crusher. And for trade at the moment all I got that is extra is a speed glass welding helmet and a lot of manual labor in exchange for help
Well I got the cradle dropped, will be on the road with'in the week I think
Oh if anyone is intrested in it, I have some pictures of the progress on facebook, http://www.facebook.com/alb...054880&id=1188903463 , not sure if you have to add me but if you do just put "Fiero" in the message field and I will add ya.

I have a ton of 84 parts I can hook ya up with come get them u can have them they are taking up my attick!
Awesome, what kind of parts do you have? I found a cradle, not sure about control arms.
Will need rear tie rods and then it is back on the road, rest is cosmetic need alot of new body panels lol.... Like I said saved it from getting crushed. I hope to find aero bumpers for it, then need new door skins rest of the body i can fix up but door skins got warped and bowed out somehow... not sure how, but if you dont want parts will accept them And will think of a way to repay you, maybe some good ole fashioned manual labor :P
Wow... dug a little deeper into the Fiero and I dont think I have the skill to do this... Pictures will explain.
At first I thought just the cradle and control arm were bad when I got it, but man... my fiance will kill me if she knew how bad it really was and I dont think I can do it, any advice out here?
as bad as u think that looks its verry fixable and i have the metal bits to do it wih also i have a door skin or both and front bumper cover and rocker plastic covers fenders and a bunch of other stuff i also hve 84 headlight assemblys steve prob has the tie rods u need and the other suspension bits i also hve a bunch of the 84 interior stuff dont give up on it yet its not that bad!
Here is a list of what I need, haha should make a list of what I dont lmao.. be shorter...
Need Cradle - Found Thanks Steve cant wait to pick it up on Saturday
(if I can find rear rails would totally replace the whole section otherwise going to try to beef up the rear)
rear tie rods
rear driver side tie rod end (will prob just buy both sides new)
Rear bumper going to change over to the gt bumpers because i have to replace them anyway dont like the bumper body lol... , Steve might also have this
6 tail light screws previous owner stripped them all out
in the future taillights missing tabs for where the screws connect
Driver and passenger door skins (both bowed out figuring that is why driver side window motor stopped working from all the water that got in from the rain)
Driver side Window motor (it is broke and window is 1/8th the way down)
passenger side rear marker light
center console surround and vents
front gt nose
I am sure there is more but those are on my top to-do list If anyone has parts they need to sell, or no longer need please send me a message.
Kelly
Oh yeah here are some more pictures turned out this car got rear ended before. I got the actual bumper off and pretty strait now still has kinks in it but i can live with that.
I am not ready to give up on it yet.

I still have my '85 GT here that should be usable. It needs some body panels and a few other items replaced that I pulled for my wife's car but it's a good runner. It may only be a parts car but my intention was to put it back on the road and now I just don't need it. If anyone is interested in this thing please let me know.....
Well i cut out the rusted trunk today to replace and also expose the frame rails a little better and took the grinder out and wire wheel, feeling pretty good about it now that I got most of the rust off of it now, looks like I should be able to repair this easyer then when I first took a look at it. Cant wait to pick up all my parts waiting for me on Saturday!!!

Does it run? What is missing and how much do you want for it? I'm much closer to you than these other blokes
