I looked on a map, and it looks like Robs route is a good one! We had discussed some other possibilities, but I think this will be the most scenic.

So, who all wants to go through the museum? Personally, I love it, and wouldn't mind going through it again.

The FVF website doesn't mention specifically, but we were thinking of picnicking at Bay Beach. Any thoughts?

Join in for two days of fun with your Fiero friends from around the country. St. Charles and its neighboring city, Geneva, both offer a variety of antique shopping, skate parks, and delicious dinning experiences. We kick off the weekend at 11:00am for a group lunch on Saturday, September 10, 2011 by meeting at the Holiday Inn Express in St. Charles (our host hotel). We will caravan over as a group to lunch, which will be at the Portillo’s restaurant located at 1500 Butterfield in Downers Grove, IL (east on Butterfield at I-355). We plan to arrive at Portillo’s around 12:00 noon. From there, we will travel as a group to the Antique Auto Club of America’s Central Fall Meet taking place in Oak Brook, IL. Here we will visit with NIFE club members Fred Bartemeyer and Ed York who will be displaying their Fieros in this show. Fred will be bringing his ultra low mileage Fiero Indy Pace Car and Ed will be bringing his blue PPG Pace Car. We will have plenty of time to see a truly overwhelming selection of some very rare, unique vehicles from the automotive history books. After our visit, we will head back to our host hotel in St. Charles. At 6:00pm our traditional Fierorama pizza party will take place at Gino’s East across the street from the host hotel.

its both days man.

Well guys,

Today was the last hint I needed that i don't belong with Fieros. Everything was fine, got some gas and ran to do an errand. And then boom, smoke and stem came pouring out of the vents of the rear end. Pulled over and opened the decklid and it sounding like my engine was literally boiling. Looked around for where the coolant was coming from and all the hoses were fine, then I noticed that coolant was boiling out from my exhausts downpipe gasket. And I mean LOTS of it, was pouring out of it. i invested most of my money into the engine swap and well, I cant do it anymore, car always had horrid bump steer, and had a lot of other issues but I never though it would blow up on me. Now its a complete basket case. But I'm done. Not sure what I should do anymore, so I think i quit. I will still puts around on the forum and on the facebook page. But I am just done. And sorry for the rant, I just had to vent this out.

Made some awesome friends here though, and you guys rock. Keep up the good work and I hope your 100 times luckier then I am.

-Kelly

One hell of an illusion. They are parked nose to nose, straight on camera shot, and the white nose is majorly longer. Photoshopped picture or something?

Don't let it beat you! Find out for sure whatwent bad before you throw in the towel. It may be something simple even though it may look really bad [sounds like maybe a head gasket though].

No, just slightly different angles from the camera and also the light is hitting them differently. Look at the turn signal cutouts, you can see much further into Rob's[white car] than the other.

If you would like a second set of eyes to take a peek with you I'll be passing through Pelican Lake on Sunday. I'm up in Hurley/Ironwood for the weekend. I'll be checking the forum periodically.

Yeah, that would be neat. And helpful. Just not sure I can keep up with this one anymore. Did a lot to make it reliable. And well I did not get to far I guess. But if you would like to stop by and take a peak that would be cool. On the 27th is my wedding date so I will prob not be available till at least after noon or so on Sunday though.

what did you prep the parts with?> use a acetone/iso alchol mix 50/50 to wipe before paint, it will help! use lint free paper towels like kc workhorse or tuffmate towels and then use a crystal tach cloth to take remaining lint off before paint.

Hey check out this local Fiero Gt. http://greenbay.craigslist.org/cto/2538875024.html I have seen this car. The guy did a great job. When you start the car you can`t even say you get the key to the end and it1s running, runs great.
