I bought my first Pontiac in1973 (GTO). Started a car club in late 70's "TWIN PORTS STREET MACHINES" and we had about 20 members all with muscle cars from that era. We had shirts and jackets and window stickers like most groups nowadays. We got merged into Minnesota Street Machines about 2 years later. Many years of crusing and street racing until the early 80's. Moved to Appleton area in 1994 from up North. Joined a Pontiac Club in the area and started being the editor of thier newsletter magazine.
Been working on a 1968 Firebird for years and decised to sell it this spring. Thats when I decided to get one of the Pontiacs I never had - A fiero
West side of Green Bay close to NWTC. Moving back to Appleton area soon as I work in Brillion now so the gas and time has got me looking to move to Darboy type area.
That would be awesome, if anyone interested in tinkering just message me and ill give address and information. Dad has it on jack stands, lol but she is sinking in the yard from the rain (he put it in a low spot) I sure would appreciate the help.
Do any of you guys now need to add on to your homes to accommodate the space needed for even more car show trophies besides those you've already accumulated prior to today's Green Bay show?

For those not familiar with it, Kimberly is just east of Appleton, Wisconsin (and state highway 441). Near the top of the page to which the above link takes you, click on "Location", for directions, and access to a map of Sunset Park in Kimberly. Among other things, that map shows where in Sunset Park the car and motorcycle show will be held on July 20.
I'm baaack! Sorry for falling off the face of the forum for almost a year. In the meanwhile, I've mostly been working & travelling for work, the wife and I bought a '93 Mercedes 190E, and I'm finally getting some work done on the little red Fiero. How's everyone here been doing?
Hello All, Time has again bit me square in the ass. Since getting out of the Army, I have been a travelling Occupational Therapist. My assignments are 13 weeks and I'm basically a slave to whatever company I'm contracted to, so I get zero days off. The trade off is good pay and I can take off time between assignments. I'm on assignment now so, I'll not be able to come to wisconsin at all this summer. The problem is, I still need to get my car running properly and get it out of my parents yard, before the cradle and underside get messed up with rust and decay. My friend (who some of you met when you visited my car) is unable to find the time to wrench on it. I know it's a lot to ask, but is there anyone who can work on the car for me. I can pay for the work and parts ( just need to know what and how much). As far as I know what needs done is listed below. My parents are willing to let whoever work on it in their garage as long as it's arranged with them first. Dad has tools ( but honestly, i'd bring a toolbox...lol). I'm actually really disappointed that I'm not coming up. I had planned on actually getting to drive it this summer. IDK maybe I'll be lucky.
Steve, I know you have volunteered to help. This is just another request to see if maybe others may be willing to assist you or if maybe the club can do a group effort thing on it.
List o stuff... 1. fuel feed issues on acceleration. Prolly drop fuel tank and redo pick up or put in AN fitting in with inline filter to pump. and it's out of gas now too. 2. Transmission flush and filter, fluid top off. Won't move in reverse, trans will go into reverse, but it wont move. all other gears working. so far....lol Wifes Javelin would do same thing when it was low on fluid. 3. engine oil change. it's been sitting over winter. 4. Remove/bypass heater core and properly burp/fill cooling system. water temp gets a bit high, not too high, but it acts like there is air in system. 5. And i think my tach wire came off since my tach isnt working, but it was when i parked it. 6. starter works, but sitting i think it has a dead spot...because when i started it in early june, you had to click it a few times before starter would engage.
That is it. Unless transmission is *ucked. But fluid isnt burned or black or smelly so i really think the clutches are fine. It may be a vac regulator or vac leak in hose to regulator. Please, Please help me...I'm freaking dying of Fiero withdrawl...lol esp now that my son has one and i get to see his car drive all the time...

Sounds great! What're the details?
As for the car, it got new ball joints & tie-rod ends up front, struts in back and tires all around last summer (mostly in the care of a friend while I was on the road), and this year's projects are: -Temp gauge/bulb test fix (complete) -Get power windows strong enough to close fully with doors closed (started- cleaned window switches) -Get power locks to open/close on one press -Outer dew strips and inner felt guides -Get the headliner out of my lap (dreading this one) -A/C fix? (does anyone know who can fix it with reclaimed R12? I'd rather spend a little more to get it fixed right than screw around with the R134a conversion.)
That should keep me busy for all my downtime, not to mention trying to get work done on the Benz...
Hey fellas we got yet another fix her up for a club member! this time its Faaaaq I think his pff name is. We rescued his car from the one who remains unnamed and kicked out of the club. The engine has a pretty nasty knock and the rest of the car is well it will need a little tlc but nothing to crazy.
