This is a really cool site for IMSA racing models. They only have the Dole IMSA in the Fiero. He sells them as a kit or completed model and makes them when you order. They are plastic and metal kits and come with all the logos. Pretty cool.

Want to talk about murder it would cost me about $50 shipping to get 3 pieces of molding sent to Australia for a $25 order. When i pointed out to them it costs the same to send out one piece as it does to send 3 they didnt seem to care. So unless i need something worth about $150+ i will look else where or go without make do with something else as their delivery is just robbery. What really annoys me is i can read what they actually pay to send it.

It really is. My most recent Raping ahem shipping from them was a set of thoes brak pad lockers (the claws that hold the pad to the piston on the caliper) the part was like $1 a peice or so and these things are super thin. they would have easley put them in a white envlope and sent them to me that way for $1 or so.. nope $6. i'm willing to bet half of that gets pocketed. You dont make it to the million dollar business list without diming your customers.

I do respect them for the fast that there the only ones keeping out fiero's alive with some of there parts but most of the stuff i can find in a bone yard for cheaper.

Cost me a freakin fortune when I got my Eibach springs in. The springs themselves only made up half the price of the order, the freight was the other half...

But yeah, sometimes they're the only choice, and they really are keeping the cars alive so I'll keep paying them, unless I can find a part better elsewhere (ie diy_stu's dew wipes that I haven't gotten around to ordering yet)

Ed: Oh yeah, hurry the hells up man! I want to see photos of the thing on the move. Chop chop!

Shipping has really gone up since USPS has gone with their "flat rate" boxes.

Got 11 calendars from Fiero Store and shipping in a "flat rate" box was $30. In the past, they'd have tossed these in a padded envelope and sent them with First Class postage for $5.

Rick, just to clear things up, you can't put those clips in a regular white envelope because it has to go through a mail sorter. Have you shipped anything lately? USPS rates have gone way up.

Even worse when shipping to Canada (sometimes 3x the rate or more). Parts stores in the US can ship a $15 gasket anywere in the States for $6, but wants $25 to ship to Canada.

These high rates will probably kill many small "mail order" businesses because when the cost+shipping exceeds the cost of buying locally (if possible), the orginal low cost advantage has disappeared.

Oops - sorry... END HIJACK

Did you order them online or over the phone?

I prefer to always order over the phone now, after a few times of ordering online and ended up with backordered parts and no notification.

Im gona tighten everything tomorrow than take it for its madin voyage........ around the block.

And i owe the fiero store an apologey. While the parts they sent me were VERY brittle and broke as soon as i began to put them in. They would have worked had I had the right bearing inside of the peddel shaft. I caalled them yesterday to complain but for some reason the wrath of Rick was not brought upon them...

The car is close to being on the road people.. jsut a few more minor things to accomplish.

Ask the members of your forum to point out all of the glued on or stuck on parts of your car. Then tell them to go look at their jap-mobiles and they will see the difference. Their cars probably look like demo models for Kragen or Pep Boys with parts held on with double sided tape and Elmers glue.

No it's not Lady GaGa. It's Rick sitting in the back of a Limo in a junkyard we made at one time.
