I've got S/N 076, one of the last (If not the last) Spyders made. I bought it from Randy in 1994 and finished it in 1997. My wife and I met Randy and his wife Pat at their hanger in Scottsdale in 1992. They drove Randy's Spyder for us to see. While there it was threatening rain, so Randy showed me how to put the top up (Like putting up a tent.) Randy and Pat were always helpful during my build.
Hi Rick I haven't found a Corson video yet. Spoke with Bill of LionHeart Creations who worked for Randy Corson building the factory cars. He remembered some interesting facts but had no video. Talked with AJ of Ajs Sports cars who was Randy Corson's east coast distributor. He said there maybe some Info Packs in a box but had no videos. Paul #08 said he had a manual and was thinking of scanning it into a PDF file. Told Paul I'd buy a PDF copy of his manual, but that conversion was some time ago. Dana

Repost from Mera in Paradise per Fieromaineac's request.
Here's a great story: Went to a car show in Cave Creek today and suddenly before my wondering eyes did appear a Ferrari Boxer Spyder! Except there is no such thing. As I drew closer I saw there were no Ferrari badges on the car--they were all Fiero! This was a beautifully done kit--no hanger queen, for sure, this car had been driven, but was still in great shape. Fit and finish were excellent and in back was a huge 5.7 TPI engine--eat your heart out Danno! The best part was when I checked with registration to see what it was and who owned it--a 1984 Corson Spyder, owner Randy Corson. That can't be just a coincidence of names. OK, you Corson fans out there (now I have got to be considered one), is Randy Corson the Corson? I had only my flip phone camera so pics were tough to get, but here they are.

Yes, that is Corson # 63 one of the very rare spiders !! A lady parked behind it, forgot to put her car in gear, or set the park brake and turn her wheels to the curb. A slight downhill caused a slow speed impact. No frame damage but #63 needs fiberglass work. A good Corvette shop could make #63 brand new again. Corson spiders #60 & #76 owner's each want over $30K for their cars ......... I say $5995 for a "fix me up" Corson spider is a bargain! If I had the money and my wife said yes to a fourth car in the garage, #63 would be here.
mannysingh, the former owner of spider #63 told me he would have kept and restored the car but he told his insurance company it would require Ferrari 512 bbi body panels. His insurance company totaled the car and gave him a check for $30,000.00 !!!!!!!!
Not my car . . . . . . Corson #25 is not for sale!! Emailed a pic of my car's ID plate, attached by Randy Corson himself in his shop in Phoenix, to the guy on eBay with a request of a pic of his car's ID plate. Story has it that someone splashed a copy of one of Randy Corson's cars. This car on eBay may not be a real Corson. We'll see if this eBay seller has any proof ??
My ID plate:

It is a real Corson having just received word that it is number 04! Ebay seller changing his sale to reflect the correct number. Randy Corson's wife's car is number 01 and his personal car, a spider is number 07. 04 is a very early number and could have been a car for someone special??
Corson #04
