I haven't seen a fiero in months! Last summer I did... Plus in my garage but they are getting really skimpy out here in Cali.. Not one in the 3 local junk yards either
This is a real stretch, I admit ... just saw Wicked today in the beautiful Art Deco, Panteges Hollywood theatre. A leading character is named Fiyero, pronounced exactly like our fun little cars. This picture will give you an idea of the interior -- on a scale of 1 - 10 in doing the theatre justice I'd give it a 2.
Found a '86 2m4 auto, red/tan at a repair shop outside Gettysburg, PA. Tags are from 2000, looks like it has been sitting for 15 years. Tires are sunk way into the earth. Shame, still in decent shape.
I must have been blessed by the car spotting gods as I've seen 4 different Fieros in the past 5 days, sadly I have not been able to get pictures, so you must trust me on this. The first was an 85 SE at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. It's part of the exhibit! Paint was dull, Fiero decals were removed along with the spoiler, and the school group there was questioning if it was really a real car at all. Second Fiero I spotted was a Burgundy 86-87 GT parked outside a dentist's office in Athens, AL. Looked all there, but was in desperate need of a bath. I saw this same one at the same location 2 days later. The third was a silver 85 Notchie that i'd seen before on Craigslist, but this one was parked outside a local business. I do distinctly remember that this one had some cup holders glued to the dash when I saw the advertisement a few months back. The fourth and final was a red bumper pad Fiero up on a lift at a local auto body shop, the same shop that I saw a white T-Top Notchie a few months back. This has been quite a good Spring Break, especially for car spotting.
On 95 going south in downtown Jacksonville, I was in my wife's pt cruiser behind you. Nice red formula and I thought I was the only person who drives his in this town. We need to meet at cars and coffee at times union, 2nd week of the month.
Today on Sugarloaf Parkway at Ga. Hwy 316, I met a young woman in a black 85GT. Talked with her a while. She said her husband had owned several Fieros and had gotten rid of a Mustang for the Fiero. Yea!
I saw this in a Waukegan (IL) junkyard. 1987 GT with a monochromatic medium red paintjob, performance sound, late-model Pontiac CD player, woodgrain applique on the gauge panels, blue bulbs in the dome light...
And headers! A junkyard first for me.
Later that day mine put its best face forward at the Oswego (IL) cruise night:
none. and for a while now. I've seen more Alfa 8C's and McLaren's around here than Fiero's. Might have to get another one to remedy that, need to sell the Land Cruiser first.
I've seen another blue one around Issaquah, Washington (15 miles east of Seattle) over the last few months. Haven't had a chance to chase the guy down and say "Hi" yet. I also used to see a blue one when we first moved here in 1992 and into 1993.
I saw a Silver GT on the way to work this morning at about 3:30am / mile marker 101 on Hwy 24 West headed toward Murfreesboro, TN. Had to be a 86 or 87 GT 5spd. First one I've seen in years on that stretch of road.

I put the interior B-pillar panels off that one in my car about a month ago. Pulled some misc. stuff and the taillights as well but the lenses are both messed up.

I saw a black notch back on I75 south near 14 mile yesterday around 1:45 and I saw a silver notch back in Mt. Morris at a party store after 7pm. No sightings today. yet.
Saw a black/dark blue GT fastback today while I was in my Formula. First I've seen in a while in my area. Last was a red 85 GT and a gold 86 I believe not too long ago. A blue 87 was parked at a shop for a while and another black fastback not all that long ago either, quite possibly the same one I saw today.
Dig the ground effects. That is aluminum flashing cut to fit between strips of bumper cover cut with a big gap in it. The fasteners look like rivets but are actually stainless tamper-resistant Torx screws. Its not obvious in these photos, but it was made into a faux-widebody by bending the rear bumper cover and rear side panels out on either side of the rear wheelwells, with the resulting gap in the wheelwell liner filled with more flashing and Towx screws.
This is an original 1987 blue GT, most of which had been painted over with a similar shade of blue, including the mirrors and the windshield gasket.
Remember Oreif's door tabs?

Black '88 GT 5-spd in Wassenaar, Netherlands today at around 3pm. Very beautiful condition I walked out to see it before the young man who owns it drove off..
I saw what looked like a white coupe or formula at the Boeing missile plant off 94 in St. Charles yesterday. The top of the Fiero had a blue tarp on it. I meant to take a closer look, but ran out of time. I could be wrong. I was on the street, and the car was in the back of the lot facing me. I just saw the front.
I saw a maroon GT with T Tops broke down in rush hour heading out of downtown Pittsburgh tonight. I would have been happy to give you a ride, but nobody was around. Hoping there was no major issues.
