"Oh, we didn't dyno your car since it was the holidays." You know as well as I that one can excuse always has the possibility of leading to another. /devil's advocate. I won't comment further in your thread until I have something appreciative to say.

Sweet man, gotta love that 3800.... Don't hold out on us man we need some video of this dyno run. Cannot wait to see the high boost numbers. Can you also give us a rundown on what the NEW setup consists of, IE,. turbo size, camshaft, any head work or valvetrain work, etc. etc. etc... Thanks man Peace

Nice! Wish my Solstice GXP Coupe was hitting those numbers… I only get 300 @ 20 psi. Actually that’s probably not bad since it has two less cylinders!

I think stock head bolts are more of an issue over a period of time running 20+psi...thus killing the headgasket anyway. [This message has been edited by mattwa (edited 01-04-2013).]

Really, why don't you ask Justin then how his stock headbolts held up... with over 20PSI.

He never ran much over 20, but its apples and oranges to a cammed setup with a much bigger turbo. The failed head (and then the failed gasket) was from problems created not from power but from elsewhere.

I havent touched or seen the car yet. I have no idea how it drives etc. Charlie said he should be done sometime next week. You know, providing nothing breaks.
