Dean said one of the exhaust manifolds were leaking at the flange (not the vband). They were fixing it and the tuning and dyno stuff would commence. Its suppose to be done and I think delivered next weekend. 2 weeks????? LOFL!

Thats what I told Dean! His text reply was that his phone doesn't take video w/ sound. He posted this on FB:
The 88 GT turbo car was fired for the first time last night. we had to get some more gas this morning to get the engine broke in and start the tune. still have a bit more to do on the car before it is ready to go. some body mods alignment and AC but it is going to be a fun car. we will be posting more pics soon.
I put my oil cooler in the same location as you did, mine has a thermal control fan, and the wheelhouse liner is modified with a air shoot to direct air out/down toward the road. I don't have any pictures of the install currently, but it works great.

Your F23 is just the regular one right? Not the FY1 version that has to be combined from two transmissions? If so, prepare for extremely short gears... especially 1st gear. I definitely think you will have issues with traction. I'm interested to see how it works out.
Crappy picture but you'll get the idea, this is the drivers side rear - forward wheelhouse liner. Surprisingly it flows a lot of air, however, I 'm going to increase the size about 2 more inches toward the tire, as there's plenty of room. Reason for the increase in size is just that it will improve it a bit more, and reduce cycle times on the thermal fan. Side Scoop also contributes to not only getting air into engine compartment, but does assist air being move by fan/oil cooler.

Thanks for the pic. Looks like a good setup.
Mattwa, cant be much worse than the stock STI gearing.. 3rd by 60mph.
Slow but steady progress knocking out the punch list. Dean says he will deliver my car this weekend! Should be posting some dyno information in the next day or two.
Ok, my car wont be here this weekend. Now its next weekend. And the roller coaster continues............................ I really hope I am flatout amazed at this damn car. We are creeping up on the 6th month mark.

Hell no. I refuse to buy anything else on a car I don't physically have. I can only imagine the grief I am going to get at the DMV when I try to register a car I bought 6 months ago. Maybe I'll have it before my bday on the 12th?
Apparently the car has a blown headgasket. You know because Dean doesnt trust ZZP to build a good crate motor, so he built my engine at a much higher cost for garbage. I am BEYOND done with this.
The HG is leaking coolant out of the side. He discovered it leaking today when he was trying to tune it while it was idling. Its had all the fluids in it for a week and it now decides to leak? Dean says I'll still have it on Sep 8th and I need to "take a pill" and relax.
I know the fix! Just smear some RTV on the head. lol.
Suppose to be.. I dont know what to believe at this point. RTV? LOL I though you would of said to dump some of those GM coolant pellets used in the the N*.

MEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got to use copper RTV on those MLS HG. They have sealing issues as Dean found out. I hope mine are ok...LOL
