Just weighed my LFX/F23 drivetrain assembly with 26 lb clutch/pp/flywheel and full accessories (ps pump, starter, alternator, wiring harness and ECU) but no fluids. Total is 498 lbs. F23 by itself is 112 lbs, minus 26 lbs for the clutch leaves 360 lbs for a fully dressed LFX, matching the number I got when I weighed it awhile back. That's ready to bolt up to exhaust pipes as the heads have integral exhaust manifolds.
The LFX is listed by GM as being 20 lbs lighter than earlier HF engines because of the integral exhaust and plastic intake vs cast iron exhaust manifolds and aluminum intake on the LLT. Just for clarity, the LFX has direct injection.
