I have not personally seen inside of a 3800, but I have been told the 3800 and the lsx v8's share some parts and concepts. similar but different lol

I have found the 3800 w/auto and winter tires makes for a great winter car. It goes thru snow better than my wife's Chrysler 200. Have you driven yours in the snow?

kinda....last year January 16th I picked up ole B.D. and had to drive it right then and as you know, last year it was way warmer with less snow, so one time, but it was more rain/slush tho.
I have never driven it in snow like we got this year. I would totally need some gnarly snow tires.
the ones I got now are more akin to drag radials, good dry traction but no snow grip.
I got this instead

I have a slight miss and also some sputtering. I wonder if I have a fuel problem, air intake or exhaust or timing issue. Not sure But it doesnt do it all the time. Not sure and never have had one in a fiero, so I dont know. I did sell New Pontiacs for a long time and Grand Prixs & Bonnevilles with this engine so I know how it runs new from the factory. And this car AINT even close! Compared to a new car this car runs like crap! and has since the first day. So I think something was set up wrong by the person doing the conversion.
Anyway slowly I will get this bucket of bolts fixed. Thats why I want to connect with other 3800 owners.

I got to thinking last night and remembered when Orson E Coe Pontiac-GMC did some "Special Edition" Grand Ams. They did the lettering in Gold. Well I was working there and worked with Orson Jr. on some of this stuff and remembered I had a few extra Gold GT emblems. I'll take a picture tonight and post it.

I like the idea of Kompressor

funny you ask......the gold wheels would be for both my Fieros, actually.
I think the Mera would jam with some gold lace/diamond pattern wheels. plus that's how they came stock in 87
I wish for a set of old Trans Am snowflake wheels....or real BBS Ferrari ones.

the wheels from Black Dynamite (Enike racing 5 spokes) will be fitted first on the GT to see how they looks.
if its no different than BD was....they will stay and the Fiero GT wheels may go to the Mera on and off.
I say that because I really like the Centerline's on the Mera now. 15" front 16" in the rear set that car off.

I so cant wait till they all run like tops and are finished with all bugs gone

I finally have mine running better(knock on wood) I gapped the spark plugs down some more-to .040"- and it seems to have taken care of the miss. Seems to run stronger. Now this weekend I do or attempt to do the crossmember change.

good luck......while I have the money I will just let the professionals handle it for me

I have made mention to a few car friends about a KVCC engine course this winter, though

I got to do something. I need results and I procrastinate too much when it comes to letting strangers touch my mods
I fear they will do something stupid like this guy and break my stuff which in turn makes me break their head!!

I hope to run the roads with ya.....soon.

I don't think that is possible. It is hard to hold back when driving a 3800 SC Fiero. The only way I can keep out of it is to put it in cruise control. I just have a natural tendency to speed up into and out of the corners though.

So is that bad?
