Gotta Love when you get something in the mail from Amida.

I shipped my center console to Amida today to have it recovered to match the G1 dash and (future) G1 inner door panels.

Just got off the phone with Rob (Amida). More prototype pix by next week...

The door panels will use G6 handles:

My armrest/center console is ready! Beautiful!

Rob/Amida also told me that G1 door panel drivers side tooling is done, now he's working on the passenger side model.

Why? I like my Mr. Mike's. And I matched the light grey color used for the G1 to the seat color. They also have some black, which the dash also has.

I don't know. For some reason I remember them very light in color. Didn't know they were Mr Mikes.

Rob/Amida sent me fabric samples and I tried to match the dash (and now center console/armrest and future inner door skin) color to the seats as closely as possible. I think/hope it'll look good together...

A much better match than the old color with the Band-Aid on it.

Yep

Hardly ever use it, though, as I can control Pandora on the phone through the headunit over Bluetooth.

Give Rob Amida some time to respond. He is very busy between orders and taking care of his mother (if I remember correctly).
His work is 2nd to NONE!
He is currently finishing up one of my G1 dash and one other for someone else.

Just be patient and he will get back to you.

There has been progress but also setbacks... https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...000091-55.html#p2164

Right now it's somewhat up in the air, I'd say.
