I was going to drop a gear and let the supercharger sing when I seen you coming around, but I knew my daughter (6 years old) would report that back to her mother if I had!
Thank you for the compliment on the car. Yours looked and sounded sweet in the passing lane!

Spotted a Black GT at the Church on Fuller Street just down from the Blood bank and across the street from 7-11 this morning. Nice looking car. It has a yellow emblem of some kind on the front fender. Couldnt see it real good as I was in traffic. I dont recall seeing that Fiero around northeast Grand Rapids before.

wait! what?? you have a Black SC 3800, too?? now i have to paint my car if so RED Chrome!! or that sweet new Viper metallic.....boy oh boy!!
And I live on Lloy street off of osterhout. No Fiero in the driveway at the moment. There will be one as soon as I her the Indy out of storage. The 88 stays in the garage.
Here it the GR area the boys are patrolling more than they have in a long time. Kent county has a new Caprice painted black. Kent county has always had white.
The state boys are patroling I-96 with a all white unmarked Charger.
i seen a Sliver Fiero crossing I-94 on Kilgore after comming out the new Zoetis complex aside the airport. i was in BlackDynamite turning onto the service road .....so we had our moment!!

BOOM!! spotted a Black GT....sitting at the light heading North on Portage Rd as i was comming off the Kilgore service road headin South. very attractive, dark haired Lady type folk i hope to see that one again
It seems like there are a bunch of owners from the area on the forum. I've also started seeing a few around the Kalamazoo/Portage area. I figured I'd make a thread where everyone can post and say hi or list sightings from the west Michigan area. I know there a 6 in my neighborhood!
i know you have something to do with this..........EH??
yeah i saw a Red GT today....less than a 100 feet away from my house. thats my MailBox, in the background. too funny

What we need to do is set up a night during the week or on the weekend to get together. Pick one spot to gather at, and have some good times, go have a meal or a cruse. It used to be, the local car gathering was on 28th st. I do not know if that still happens, but it would be one way to meet and greet without having to make reservations. I would like to suggest Saturday early evening, at the mall where Target used to be, it has the Red Sun Chinese buffet there, good eats and a fair price.

Sounds like quite a gamble there... But if we can get something going, it sure beats random sightings!

Just reading this thread make me want to move out to the west side. The only other Fieros I see around my area are buried in a field somewhere providing shelter for the local wildlife.

Come over to Owosso, my wife and I try to drive ours a lot.
Hello everyone. Say I had an interesting morning this morning. Long story so.. here goes, I received a call from MI Blood for a platelet donation, which is strange as I had just donated 17 days ago. Anyway there is a cancer patient that needs platelets bad and I am a match. They asked if I could come in asap, that was Wednesday of course I could not I was working. So I told them Thursday at 8:00 AM.
Now to the story. As I am getting out of my car another gentleman my age is getting out of his Canyon and says "nice Fiero, what year, 1986?" We started chatting and before we walked very far he mentions he was an Engineer for GM and work at the Fiero plant. So we are talking about the plant the car etc and the lady that checks us in is getting impatient. LOL. I find out he was in charge of the interior and the exterior body panels. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time for me to ask a thousand questions. His name is Mark Altemann. He is retired now and lives in Rockford which is just north of Grand Rapids, as you who live Michigan know. He gave me is card. So I plan on contacting him again. He said the 89's were great looking and Pontiac had the tooling and everything ready to go for the 89 model year. I mentioned the video I saw on the forum where the engineers were working on the prototype. He says he was more than likely in the video. He also made a point to tell me what all the Fiero engineers knew, the Fiero is a very safe car. He said they were using some high strength steel in the frame rails.
Wow what a way to start a normally dull Thursday.

no fee and it says 5 pm but another spot says 6 pm and ends at 9 pm last night was the biggest of thhe year so far they say.....its all about the weather with these peeps. last wednesday was cloudy and a bit cooler and only 35 cars showed so the turn out is weather specific

I'm not West Michigan, but I did see a white formula today on the MSU campus in East Lansing. I was in my 84, but was late for something so I didn't get a chance to talk to the driver. I'm sure I will see him again.
ohh and seen a red GT Fiero in a garage off LongLake DR!! i think its the one we see in Portage alot. not sure tho peeeow!!
I would love to but had to work all day and taking care of babies at night, lol. You going to the 30'th tomorrow? I still have that marker light for you just keep forgetting to drop it off. Maybe I'll get my car out tomorrow and drive around a bit. I have to go put the transmission back into my brothers lawn mower, driving there would be a good drive.
