Well, considering I`m 56 I should either be getting girls that are younger or I have missed out on all of the fun.

I made a drive out to my parent's house a while back to visit, while I was there we cleaned all the cars, and about a dozen baby chicks from the coop came up to me while I was rinsing off the Fiero and got a bit wet. They were so excited they scurried away in pleasure. Does that count?

Story from 2009. BS story - might as well have been in the National Enquirer... No such person as Professor Mary Sontenberg. Closest I came up with was Sonnenberg on the other side of the country. http://www.hdfs.udel.edu/content/mary-sonnenbergFrom Phil's Facebook profile: Phil Buckridge Editor-In-Chief/Reporter at The Larely Beagle Studied Dendrochronology at UC-Larely (tree-ring dating is the scientific method of dating based on the analysis of patterns of tree rings) Perhaps he OWNS a Fiero and was hoping to snag "chicks" in his home-town of Larely?? ------------------ My World of Wheels Winners (Click on links below) 3.4L Supercharged 87 GT and Super Duty 4 Indy #163[This message has been edited by fierosound (edited 08-13-2013).]

Thats what im sayin'! I knew it was a gag when i read it. But i still figured everyone would get a kick out of it if they hadn't seen it. As a side note, i can second the post about the sunroof making chicks wet. Lol. Luckily i have managed to get it to the point now where it only leaks on my side instead of hers.

"All echoed similar sentiments that though they weren’t sure why, something about the Fiero made them feel warm and flush on their face, neck, and chest. Almost all of them also remarked that the Fiero seemed to totally make them wet." I mean, Seriously. This is just funny to read. I especially like this part, "Secondly, it’s no secret that chicks love danger, and the Fiero’s reputation for engine fires plays right into that.”

quote from study :As part of the study, chicks from ages 18-45 were hooked up to equipment that measured heart rate and also rate of breath. They were then shown pictures of numerous different automobiles and asked a variety of questions. All in all, 98% of chicks experienced an increase in heart rate and also began taking shorter, quicker breaths when the picture of the Fiero was shown. This can all be explained in two words! SHITTY BRAKES!! [This message has been edited by dematrix86gt (edited 08-14-2013).]

I second that. I think it was designed to let just a little bit of water in just to let you know: its raining - be careful! "... the 'vette gets 'em wet...." Not as wet as the fiero....

Funny this was mentioned. I remember my red car had a bad leak, every time id slow down in the rain id have to lean up to keep water from pouring down my back,
