bit of an update, put a little bit of work into the car last weekend and the whole mera body has been placed onto the 87 frame.. not just to get it running properly.

What are the odd's on it being done in time for the 2015 GM Nationals?

Back to the original topic heading, I saw a really nice solstice at a car show today. Its ecotec was supercharged with an after market kit that looked like it came from the factory. Interesting, which would be better? The boosted ecotec or the ls V8?

Its a hard choice between the two.. that ecotec in my old solstice was about the only thing in that car that did not fall apart at 60K miles.

And are you sure it was supercharged. 2007-2010 were tubro charged if you got the GXP

Definitely a roots type supercharger. Although it was very clean, I am at this point more of a turbo fan, Maybe a whipple though.
