Was a guest of friends to a new Italian Café that had an all Italian car show. Very interesting seeing Massertti, Ferrari, Alfa and a lot of Fiats. Of special interest, was a 1969 red Fiat convert with a rear engine set up, 4 cylinder, 65 HP and smaller then a VW engine or my lawn mower. We got to talking about Fiero's with the rear mid-engine set up and handling vs the rear engine set up like a Corvair. With out a doubt, the mid-engine is a better set up. This Fiat is stock, restored and more for city driving. Looks like Europeans like Americans don't care about economy, but speed and HP.. The best Fiero I had was a 84 SE, T-top, Whale tail, front shovel chin, side scoops, auto and 4 Cylinder. My 85GT with 4 speed and V-6 is not fun to drive in the city. Oh well..Fiero's like Fiats live on !!
