Recently bought an 88 Vette so I've been on that forum. Came across this info on their site. Mine have recently been replaced but may try this on a Fiero I have.

I just looked this up last week and they worked. I'll ask on the Corvette forum.
Fixed links. Yep, it was the way it was loaded.
Supposedly you can replace inners and outer for under $20.

DIYstu's wipes are awesome. Fierostore also sells a slightly "cheaper" design of wipes.

Corvette units may work well but I'm going to support the guys that specialize in Fieros as that is a dwindling market and I would want anyone that's interested to be able to get into the hobby. A lot of folks aren't terribly well inclined to make parts from scratch. Good to hear about options, though.

The links are dead because of the abreviations... Interested in seeing what you've got...

Fixed links. Yep, DIYStu is a nice guy with a great product. This gives the other DIY people the tools to DIY. Some people like to use their hands and others their checkbooks.

Steve, I did a write up on making these quite a while back. I sold around 30 sets of the rubber parts and made the ones that were on my silver 86 notchie. It is five pages long, but lots of information there.

Thanks Joe! I'm not very good at using PFF search. Sounds like a good retirement hobby. Glad you're getting settled down south.
