Just keep your son off the four wheeler or he might break his arm.
Edit: Page ownage.
tyler used to wear this evil keniveal shirt that said something about "chicks dig scars"... so while a broken arm isn't a scar it is one of those tough guy stories. he should play it for all its worth. "yeah... i broke my arm after doing a stunt on an atv but i just kept walking around with it. aint no big thing babe. **** happens."

The anxiety is building for sure. It will be great to see all my Fiero friends though. It's crunch time people! We are looking for more caravaners. Zac are you in?
Danyel are you coming in Thursday? Kim and I won't be up until Friday afternoon as I have a workshop in Lincoln, NE on Thursday

Would be nice to cruise with you, I havent noticed anyone else yet say they are heading in Friday. GTjeff, Steve (hoho), usually does, perhaps Seajai and a few others of the MN crew. Past years the Friday Caravan has left the Minneapolis / Elk River area in the morning, swung thru JPs in Sauk rapids around noon-ish if I remember right.
So what time and where do we want to meet in the Cities? The past few years we have met around 12:30 near the airport. Since JohnWPB is flying in early this year, we can probably find a better place to meet. Any suggestions Synthesis? Anyone else joining in Thursday?
Thursday Carvan (Locations & meet times to be determined)
Group from Chicago Area - Meet at Road Ranger 7500 E Riverside Blvd Loves Park IL ( 6am ? ) - cornersonrails - fieroguy123 / Stephanie - mrfred8 / zmcdonal

Add me to the Thursday caravan list, I just need to figure out where to join up with the group. What is the usual route?
Kind of depends where we meet, at some point we end up on 10 . You and Synthesis figure out the best route. The Friday Caravan has traditionally met at JP's Grill and Bar in Sauk Rapids . The Thursday Caravan usually meets earlier along the route, somewhere on the west side off 494 would probably work.

How about we meet right off of 10 outside the cities at say 10am? This way people coming in from the way of I-94 can go around the belt loop and not have to go right into the city. Meeting there at that time would also give us time to eat at JP's and not have to beat the sun going down to set up tents and such. I found a gas station with what looks like it would be an easy on and of of I-10. Does this seem like a good spot or idea?

Way too early. You would lose half the caravan. If you want to have two Thursday groups go ahead. To make this meet up the Chicago group would have to leave at 2am. And I know in the past some of the locals have worked Thursday morning before joining the caravan. I do agree getting in early is good, but remember sunset is not until almost 9pm.
How about 12:30 instead (the Chicago group could probably do as early as 11:30 but don't know about everyone else)
assuming we get out of there by 1pm at the latest, it should put us into Frazee around 4pm (still a few hours earlier then past years). Sound good?

It shouldn't be out of the way for anyone, as in past years we have met in various places, then went north right by there. But yes, we need a local to chime in with any concerns that Google has not mentioned

Unfortunately that is very out of the way for Island Cat and I, more than an hour in normal traffic and close to two in rush. We live at the Southernmost dot, and I work at the dot just North of that.
I'd suggest something a bit further West of Coon Rapids on I-94.
The route up would be I-94 (70 MPH the entire way) to Clearwater Exit 178, and then take Hwy 24 North through Clearwater to Clear Lake to US Hwy 10... About five miles.

hi folks. i would love to get a sort of headcount on who is doing the scenic drive and supper saturday after the show? i have to change up the schedule slightly to accommodate our supper plans. the show is over at 3. there is a beard contest at the vfw at 3 pm which i think will be super fun to check out - plus you can see the flag andy gave tyler displayed while you view the local whiskers and have a beer.
our supper plans are to eat at Billy's - our original spot during the build weekend. seems like forever ago that we were there for that night. anyway, i told them we would have about 40-50 people - i'm guessing - and while they dont make reservations if we are there before 5 it will not be a problem. i would like to leave frazee at 4 pm and head to vergas to be there by 430 for an early supper. we can then mosey down the road for a scenic drive after we eat - if we want, play it by ear. it is pretty scenic on the way to vergas in general. this will be a order off the menu - pay your own bill - type of thing. they have burger type menu like before. we might possibly have 2 extra cars... jay has a line on a new motor for his. i can't give any details frankly b/c i dont know them - but it is "fast" and "bada**" so infer what you will
so if you are going to have drive/supper with us saturday can you email me? dont want to clog up this thread with a bunch of replies to that. my email is dshipman@loretel.net

That looks fine to me, only 5 mins difference for us according to google. Will probably work out better for rarew66 as well.
I have to tare into the transmission in the 88 to replace the internals. I should be able to finish it in time. I have all the parts needed. I can do it in one day, but I guess I should know by now things don't always go according to plan when it comes to owning a Fiero. Good thing it's just under a month away. My twin wont be able to go this year, but hopefully next year he will be able to. I know he is bummed about it.

Many of you did not even catch on that I was not there at all year before last. My twin went in my place. So anything to do with any keys, is NOT MY FAULT! ! ! !
Oh, I was wondering if I need to bring a boat, or at least a couple of life vests for my trip to MN this year........
Count me in for the Friday caravan from the twin cities
If we can swing to meet infinitewill (arriving noon-1pm ish in Minneapolis area), It'll could be
FRIDAY CARAVAN ...all hypothetical at this point, as it seems many Friday caravaners have not spoken yet. The more the merrier! I'd rather take hwy 10 than Interstate 94.
