why would that piss you off?

But I hate the rust that I just found in my trunk
and the way the heater/ac tubing is run - stupid in my opinion

That they ceased production after 1988.

The looks of the fiero surpassed many cars from the GM line-up.

Yeah, I'll often snap up a "deal" when it presents itself.

Sometimes these items come in real handy.

Mostly though, they take up a lot of space in my basement.

I hate that they didn't come with a bulletproof Nsx 5spd transmission from the factory.

That everything's so damn expensive and difficult to obtain.

But that's more a problem unique to my locale than a problem with the car!

That may not be all bad.

HAD a girlfriend may mean she is still available, AND likes Fiero`s

Needed to have a better attaching system for the GT quarter windows (US ditches should be littered with those things) and the dash corner vents should of been redesigned to cover the all to common busted corner.

I am the opposite, I am glad we can still get embroidered floor mats for any price!

I will second the rear 3 spark plugs! Break one of those suckers off, and your in for a real PAIN. (I know)

After that, getting an alternator out of an 88 ranks a close second...

"HATE" is such a strong word.

There are a few things that are annoying or just a pain...which many have been listed above....and can be corrected as we see here every day by our members.

But the one thing I would change and have not worked on a mod to do it YET, is the E-BRAKE placement.

I grew up using my e-brake and I don't mean for parking ...and at least for me...that is impossible to do with the Fiero e-brake's placement.

Walmart in Tyler has generic floor mats starting at 9.99.

If you want something nice it is going to cost more........

I have a set of custom mats that are black carpet material with FIERO done in red. I will sell them to you for $35.00. They cost about a $100.00 new & they are almost brand new as I opted into coco mats. You have my number, call if interested.

$100 is not bad for out of production OEM floor mats, if they're in good condition. The OEM mats for my del Sol go for $300+ even faded pretty bad with holes in them.

But there are shops on-line and on eBay that will sell brand new solid color, or with a simple embroidered "Fiero" or such for less than $100, too. Mats made to fit a specific car are going to be more expensive than the generic crap at AutoZone though.

Driveline absorber unavailable anywhere.
86-88 GT tail light prices getting down right crazy.
Center console/radio surround bowing.
Questionable factory ball joints.
Lackluster braking power.
Pita to replace V6 oil pan gasket.
Vertical scratches in door glass.
Phantom wipe annoyance.
Clutch bleeding tricky .
Sticky PDL's.
Slow power windows. (and I mean slooooow)
Cracked dash corners.
Dreaded V6 hunting idle.
Blowing ICM's in the V6 way too much.
Dragging rear calipers.

The annoyingly dim instrument lights. And if that's not enough, they provide you with a rheostat to tone them down if you still find them too blinding. LOL

Draws too much attention in traffic. While I realize this is sort of a good thing, far to many accidents have occurred very close to me.

*@#$% T-Tops. I love them when the wx is nice, but I hate that I can't drive in the rain without getting water inside the cabin. If it wasn't a CJB car, i'd cut the roof off and do a "T-Top to Hard Top" swap.
