It's that time of year again, Minnesota Fieros Forever will be having their annual Summer Drive-In Show n' Shine!

This year's Show n' Shine Event will be held Saturday, June 28th July 19th starting at 9am at Wagner's Drive-In. This is a show and shine event, no competition, just a gathering of Fieros and friends! So dust off your Fiero, clean out the cob webs, and come join us for some good times.

We're planning to eat lunch at Wagner's before taking off and cruising up to check out the Car Craft Summer Nationals at the Minnesota State Fair grounds.

Just noticed on the events calendar it is listed for Saturday the 21st along with the Back to the 50's Car Show. Is it for sure the 28th?

Just looked, it's listed for the 28th. They must have updated the listing.

I spent 4 hours getting the thing aligned!

i have a leaky brake caliper right now. time to do the upgrade i think. We'll see if it is ready for that day...

Wow, did he have trouble because it's so low?

If anything, Fieros are not required to show up and hang out... I can think of at least 3 people that will be doing that this year.

a little issues with the car being as low as it is. we had to slot the upper ball joints (control arm) a little more, and adjusting the rear toe was difficult, since the rods were frozen. everything is now in spec though.

Unfortunately we just discovered that there was a planning error & schedule conflict for this event!!!

As of now, we have rescheduled the event for Saturday July 19th, 2014!

I'm so glad I didn't miss this event. My car was still in a lot of pieces for the first date. Now it has about 34 miles of mostly trouble free driving, LOL, so I plan to be there. Looking forward to meeting some of the MN Fiero Forever club members and seeing their cars. Hopefully it will draw other Fiero owners to have a look.

I'm planning on entering Car Craft. Will be at Wagners Saturday for our club show and then to CC afterwards.

I've never actually been to Car Craft, is it typically only nice cars that enter? I think my car might be a little out of place, especially with a different color rear fascia right now.

Id say car craft is near 5 - 10% rough projects, I've been to it a few years, probly wont make it this year.

you can bring anything into Car Craft. really, you see everything, from projects, to beaters, to 200,000 show cars. its a lot of fun. Jon, your car would be just fine, especially with the motor swap!

Well then I may as well enter mine too. It would be cool to have a group of Fieros representing there!

Hmmm... might be able to borrow a nice, running Fiero for Saturday!

Mine isn't show worthy, but I'd enter it in Car Craft for the hell of it.

Just an FYI for those considering showing your car at Car Craft Nationals 2014:

(specifically, on-site registration is $65, granted it's for the whole weekend, and includes a "co-pilot" and any children under 15).


Also, for those who want to just go attend the nationals, 1-day gate tickets are $15 for ages 11 and older ($26 for 2-day, or $39 for 3-day).

Hate that I'm going to miss this... I planned my whole summer vacation around Minnesota but this show fell outside the window.
