While it would be nice to have alot of fieros there, sometimes its just the trip and visiting with friends and fellow enthusiasts that makes it worth while! Even if they arent in fieros! You should go to ruckus! Just my .02 cents!

I have been to Ruckus in a Ford Windstar, Smart Car, Jeep Wrangler, PT Cruiser. In fact will be in the Cruiser this year. I will be the caboose in the caravan & maintain radio diligence....
Don't forget to bring your radios, they make the cruise and/or caravan go a lot smoother.

We are asking for 35 small items for the bags you participate you get a bag. Upon departure if anyone wants to go to the air park on Dyess AFB I will be escorting you on base to see the static displays.
I will go! Two questions:
Can you explain the swag bag thing? 35 items means I'm a bit stumped on what could be given in bulk at cost without being cheap. I am taking Friday off. At PSN, there was talk about meeting early AM some where and driving together. What time and location would that be at?

It can be anything you want it to be, some people bake cookies, others get free ink pens donated from a business, we even got a nice (hot chicks) year old calendar one year. It's fun to see what you can come up with for free. Heck this year I'm bringing tooth picks! LOL
NTFC, For those able to join in the traditional Friday caravan, we will be meeting at the PETROL Truck Stop off exit 409 & I-20, right hand side. The have a diner there for some breakfast called The Iron Skillet if you'd like to come early. Let's meet at 1000 and roll out at 1015.
Our cruise will be an uninspiring 2 hours west on 20, I had other ideas, but the added moved our start location towards Stephenville, which is just not fair to those coming from way North or Dallas. The primary reason for our 1000 depart... We are going to experience lunch at a super secret hard to get at Texas foodie destination... Supposedly the best steak in Texas or go a little lighter for a more traditional lunch. Afterwards lunch I have a few other detour adventures for us...

SWAG Bag, stuff we all get is a Ruckus tradition and fun. Don't worry about cheep, I usually shoot for $0.50 or less. Like Paul said we have had ink pens, erasers, cookies, P-38s, bags of chips, bottled water, gum, etc. So don't worry about cheep its the fun of the bag and "Stuff We All Get."
TXGOOD you gonna be bringing any goodies with you? I would sure love an arm rest in 88 grey.
I am still working on orders that I got on the forum so I don`t have any extras. You can order one at the Ruckus and I can get it done in a couple of weeks.
Another great Ruckus in the books. The WASP museum, Frontier Texas & the Wind Farm were fun. The Wind Farm is a marvel with over 1200 wind turbans generating electricity, we loved it.
Sunday morning meeting to say our goodbyes and acquire the SWAG bags.
Before NTFC headed back home we had a little detour to the AFB to see some historical aircraft but first we all had to pass a background check, luckily we all made it thru.
thanks Hywel for being our sponsor to get us on base.
