That was the rat rod I was talkin about, but I've never seen that vw before.

The Fiero 2.8 was only in the Fiero (the L44 in the few other cars that got it, had different intake and valve covers).

ThaDriver has built a VW Cabriolet with a Fiero 2.8 and rear mounted subframe.

I am sure someone put the injectors and intake on an 86 jeep comanche. Used the same block but was only carb'd so would sound like a good fit. does that count?

I would like to have the opposite.......A Porshe Boxster/Cayman engine and trans in the back of the Fiero.

I recently saw a 70-something MG with a 2.8 in it. Not the Fiero version though; it was carb'd and probably came out of an S-10.

I've seen a couple 308s on the Internet previously that had a 2.8 swapped in, but I don't know if it was the Fiero L44 or even a 2.8, as they were carbed, and valve covers were painted differently.

And yeah, MG and Triumph have often had the 60 degree V6 swapped in.

There's certainly no shortage of the GM 60 degree V6 engines in the wild, but I think most of the ones swapped into other cars are not the one that came in the Fiero.

the firebirds in the early 1980s had the 2.8 same as the fiero i think ...

Such is the problem with the 2.8 /3.4 etc is the fact that GM made it as small a package as they could so they could drop into anything they came up with; IE the useless/power killing intake manifolds and headers.
