Great day for a car show Started off a bit cool and windy but ended up very nice. I took pics of each car that I saw, and several of different mods. I know personally I've seen a lot of different body mods on the forum but few in person, so I wanted to get some angles to show people what they actually look like on the car in case you're deciding about doing one of them yourself. I have to do some resizing and organization so in the meantime here's a couple to whet your appetite:
A big thanks to everyone involved in putting on the show. I had a great time and met some cool people (sorry I didn't meet more, I'm more outgoing online than I am in person)
Ok, time for some pics I tried to group with the same car but some ended up out of order. I also have a few comparison pics. I counted 39 cars there but I probably missed some during my comings and goings. Sorry to anyone I missed.
The second car that you took pictures of, the gold notch with the northstar engine. did you happen to notice the underside of the hood? Was the opening functional?
Very nice. I think that orange 4.9 '86 was one I looked at about 2 years ago. If so, they fixed a few things.
I see JimmyS was there.
Did I miss John WPB's car, or was it kept separate? Perhaps the one with the blue model on it?
John's car was there... at the parking lot of the hotel, refusing to start Replaced a lot of parts to no avail. Of course, he comes back after the show, and it fires right up. If anyone likes his fiero, you may want to make an offer on it before he chops it up with an axe out of frustration

Sorry, I didn't get a specific pic with the hood up. From the high res pics, it doesn't appear so, but I can't say for sure:

The one with the blue model belongs to the chairman of Capitol City Fiero Club in Michigan.
Yup! Drove down in a convoy of fieros over a period of days to be here. Maybe that's how I'll go from Pittsburgh next time

One of these days, (years ), I'm going to make it back down there to the sun&fun for this show. I can only hope that it continues to be put on.
Some beautiful cars there, to be sure. Very inspirational for anyone working on one to see what's possible if you stick to it.
Many that I could go on and on about, actually, all of those pictured, so I won't pick a "favorite", just say again, there are some gorgeous cars pictured.
Nelson, your Mera looks better than ever!
Looking forward to more pics, but I have to say, kwagner did a fantastic job of recording and presenting the field of dreams. GREAT pictures! Thank you for taking the time and effort.
Wish I could have made it, but there are many things I "wish" I could do. My respect and admiration goes out to those who are my age and beyond that can still do it, and feel motivated to, and get it done.
One of these years.........hope Jimmy had a great day, parts look great. Not a better venue anywhere to set up and show your wares. Being able to pick a part up and hold it in your hand is the best way for someone to "know" they want it! Pictures are fine, but up close and personal is always better!

First a sledgehammer, now an axe!
That's really too bad... he's been chasing demons in that car for quite some time now. I was really hoping to see his car at the show, simply because he's been fighting the problem so hard (and so long) just to be able to make it.
Props to John for giving it his best shot... maybe someone took some pictures of his Fiero at the hotel that they could share. I'd like to see some pictures of his car, even if it wasn't at the show with the others.
Anyone?
It was a great show. Lot's of good looking Fieros out there for sure.
