Hash Tag! You can't handle a hash tag! You know how to Hash Tag don't you.....you just push this little button and send. Don't fire until you see the color of their Hash Tag. I have not yet begun to Hash Tag. Hash Tag; a little dab will do ya. Two all beef patties, lettuce, cheese, special sauce, pickles, onions on a Hash Tag.

Listen folks, those of us that do not hash tag call it a pound sign. Life is much funnier if you say pound instead of hash tag. There are phrases that this generation uses hash tag for, but substitute pound instead, and it is just funnier.

Musicians call it sharp. Even more amusing if you say "foo sharp" for "#foo"
Is it just me, or are there a lot of ”members” whose first (and sometimes only) post is to sell their Fiero?
Aren't we all looking at ebay, craigslist, etc for cars, parts, etc? It's one thing when a member's say, 500th post is to sell their car, but I get a certain feeling when someone joins just to sell something--particularly when the only thing that isn't sketchy is the price.
What further rubs me the wrong way is that requests for pics & info are ignored, or the ”member” who made the post then snubs or insults those who post on the thread.
I saw this rather garish looking, (in my opinion), GT lurking on my local area Craigslist for some time and SURPRISE!, it suddenly popped up here in the Mall section posted by a brand new 2015 member. The owner seems to be taking some small amount of derision for their asking price now.
I'm not sure if I consider joining the forum just to post an Ad in the mall section really "contributing to the community" or not, but then again, maybe just making cars and parts available to long term active members here could be construed as "contributing". That said, is there really any PFF rule on this sort of thing?
"Hashtags"?? I like corned beef hash...on light toast.

As part of the new generation I can say that the hashtag is old news. But it's seriously #oldnews, and tbh Twitter is dead, the future is SnapChat in which you send pointless pictures of the concrete wall in front of you with some odd assortment of internet symbols developed by chat rooms of the 90s now known as emojis. Words have been forgotten in exchange for letters and numbers with several smiley faces at the end of every message, even if you felt no emotion in typing it. People see this forum as a place to dump their ragged out 2M4 automatic with 217k miles and a heap of problems and leave it at one post filled with grammar errors and 3 out of focus pictures of some screenshot of an Instagram post. The internet has taken off and corrupted today's youth. What happened to the internet as a tool to learn, grow, and express? Why's it now filled with mediocrity like #thedress (That was fun to learn about walking into math class this Friday)
I know I think about selling my Fiero every now and then but just haven't felt the need to send it on. I guess the new people think that they can get a higher price from people that already love the car. If I do pull the trigger and sell my car I will list it here but we all know how much these cars are worth and even though I have over twice of what my cars worth into it I know the market value is still low which kind of bites. Could be worse, it could be a Corvair!

"Garish looking"? You think so?
I don't have any problem with someone brand new to PFF posting an ad in the Mall. However, they need to realize that this is a forum (for discussion!) first and foremost, and that we're liable to comment on the quality and/or price of whatever it is they're trying to flog. If these people don't like it, they can stick with using Craigslist and eBay.

What you can get for it depends very heavily on the individual car. Just because it's a Fiero means very little. There are a lot of pieces of crap out there. There are few really GOOD ones despite what their owners *think*.
The other functional rule of used cars is: "They are worth whatever you can get for them".

EXACTLY like that, but some others also. If you posted a pic with TP hanging out of your pants, and someone asked you to reconsider the pic, would that be derision?
OK, Who sent you a copy of my high school Prom photo?!

This is true. I think the other thing that makes me not want to sell it is that every time I drive it I have a good time, it really is fun to drive!

Not much that's all that hard to change if the yellow/black combo isn't a buyers taste.. depending on what else it may have that a person looking for a Fiero wants . If a person joins to try to sell a car , I see no harm in that, as long as it's not a dealer.. Person might price it high, knowing that people on the forum like the car model, or might price it high knowing cars with a following tend to have a big haggling swing from asking price to selling.. or from watching car tv shows,, were, some one ask "X", the buyer right off the bat cuts that in half and they go from there.. who know.. Hagerty list a #3 87gt at 6200.oo they think a #3 car is #3 cars could possess some, but not all of the issues of a #4 car, but they will be balanced by other factors such as a fresh paint job or a new, correct interior. #3 cars drive and run well, but might have some incorrect parts. These cars are not used for daily transportation but are ready for a long tour without excuses, and the casual passerby will not find any visual flaws. "Good" is the one word description of a #3 car.
because it uses a #4 car in the description.. this is what they call a #4 #4 cars are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the fender has a minor dent. The interior could have split seams or a cracked dash. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or the interior might not be stock. A #4 car can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 car.
is it that bad of a car, with what has been done to it,, the custom front bumper.. if it runs good/drives good, and it is true that the salvage title is only from it having been stolen at one time in it's life? the C/L ad says 4000.oo so 3200.oo sale price.. (guessing)... fixing the lower yellow isn't that hard.. At least it's not orange
