Thanks for posting that. Doesn't look too bad for a ~16 year old paint job. Only had about 22k miles since 2000. If I had the space, I would buy it back. Wheels alone were worth $4k plus in 1998.

I got my first one sorta by accident. I always took my Mercedes SLs to Carlisle when the European Import and Fiero shows were combined. I was actually looking for a used 308/328 Ferrari there. I saw a few kits in the Fiero field, and noticed an uninstalled kit for sale in the midway swap meet. I rented a box truck and dolly and brought the Mercedes and the kit back home. I found an abused Fiero at a local classic car dealer here and started taking it apart the next day. I just thought why buy a real used one with all the high maintanence cost, when I could have the same thing with all US components for close to the same thing. Yes, then you could find used real 308s for mid to high teens. The 308s didnt have much more hp than a V6 Fiero then either (around 200 I think), so I had an engine built with a turbo.
