We call it the cradle. Some cars call it the K-frame, or K-member.

I don't know if the image of the "k-frame" in the posted link from a Ford was enough to answer your question(s).

Why do you need to fix or replace the cradle in a Fiero? Is it rusted away? If so, you probably have other serious rust issues that won't be rectified by simply replacing the cradle.
