Got a bit of work done, finished the notch on the oil pan, now I can finish the engine and get it back in the car so I can make the move, with moving and getting settled in, I don't expect to get much done until spring...

Excuse the mess, every surface that's near horizontal has become a "table", it will get worse before it gets better, moving into this place was a pain 21 years ago, this move will be much worse... not looking forward to the next couple of months...
Getting closer to being able to move, need to hang as many parts on the car for the move, less chance of parts getting lost or damaged... It's bad enough that I'm still missing parts that I took off 11 years ago and it never left...

Cheers Beers n Gearz, Joe

About as ready to make the move as I can do in the time I have, at least somethings ready to move... I can't wait to get settled and get back to the car...

I look around the shop and wonder WTF have I done??? I know, I know, it'll be a pain but better when done...

It's official, I closed on the property in Show Low AZ yesterday, now the move from hell starts, I don't expect to be able to work on the car for a couple of months at best...

There are lots of mountain roads in the area that I'm looking forward to driving the car on...

Congrats on the new house. Moving is not fun at all, even less with a car hobby. I have been fortunate enough to have the military move me around but I am retiring in 30 days so I will come to know what real moving pain is soon enough. ha

Thanks, good luck on your move. Congrats on retiring from the military, thanks for your service...

You should see what I've gathered over 21 years of living in the same place... I've sold some stuff off and am still a bit overwhelmed by the task at hand, add to that I'm planning to do the slab for the main part of the shop (currently dirt.) and do the insulation and drywall before moving equipment into the shop...

For a second I thought that was a very out of square tile job.

Almost ready to unload the last trailer load, and put the shop together...
My goal is to drive the car this summer.

Hey Joe. Good to see progress, even if it's just the shop.

I actually grew up in that area. Snowflake, AZ to be exact. Lived in ShowLow for a few years. Nice place...in the summer!! I can't wait to see your progress on this, I have an 87 GT that has less than 1000 miles on it, and am trying to find another one to do something like this with. Lays Fiero Chips!

Finally, the shop is together, I have a few things to get out of the way (finish putting the vintage mx racer back together and fix a trans leak on the Hauler.) the Fiero can come in for the winter (only a year after I turned my life upside down, I hate moving...)
