I was interviewed this morning by Lakes 99.5 up in Perham, MN about the car show and Camp Shipman. The very first part of the interview was not captured, about 45 seconds of audio where I discussed the more than thirty thousand dollars raised over the last ten years, and Dave talked a bit about the Turkey Days celebration.
The rest of it is here to see, along with some memories of the car show and Camp Shipman.

This is the video that motivated me when I first came upon this story. I'm glad I'm typing because it would be difficult to talk right now.
Just so you know, my car is ready and I'm ready and I'll see you all on Friday at Camp Shipman.
I'm Mr. 10 Years Late and I'll be driving an '88 GT, metallic red, no wing, with black wheels and Ohio plates. Or I'll be a passenger in a flatbed hauling that same car. Either way, I can't wait to meet you all.

Greg, 10 years tardy, maybe....... but NEVER too late! Looking forward to meeting you!
Here are some pictures from previous years to catch you up to speed.
Here is a photo of the "Thursday Caravan" taken in 2011 for the 2nd annual show. Fridays caravan had more cars in it if I recall that year.

KARE11 rebroadcast the original build project with some updates. You can read more and view the video on KARE11's website.
I had the privilege of meeting GDC88 and tshark this weekend as well as Rob Kinnan from Motor Trend group.
The image below features only a small subset of the numerous people that were involved in the project. Many people responsible for helping Tyler's dream come true were unable to make it to the show this year, but we'd like to extend our gratitude to all of them, from the car and engine build teams to the various community members in Frazee and surrounding communities that provided food, lodging, parts, and support during the build.
Special thanks to Rob Kinnan for the wonderful picture.
