Lol when you click that link it has been deleted by the poster. Do any of those possibilities bolt right up? The brackets on the ones that are in it now are shot so I need an alternative that bolts right up with the brackets that go to what I'm putting in not the old brackets.
I was thinking about replacing my seats but then found a good deal on Mr. Mike's covers. What I did from there was call Mr. Mike and get the added cushioning for the covers. I am very pleased on how the seats feel on my bottom and back now. My wife even said that the seats are a lot better.
82-02 Camaro and firebird (and trans am) seats are all the same where it matters.
Having been through so many seats, the best option is rebuilding Fiero stock seats with Mr. Mike's.
Even 2002 seats are 17 years old now. They will start deteriorating fast anyway and put you right back where you started. Furthermore, F-body upholstery is sold in complete sets including the rear seats for about $1,000, last I checked, for quality upholstery. Again, Mr. Mike for stock seats is the best option

Fair points all. My problem is likely the lack of padding on the seat bottom (as opposed to the voluminous padding on MY bottom!)
I see MrMikes actually has a page on doing up the bottom if torn, so I may be able to get away with that. Time to remove a seat and look in there.

Mr. Mikes seats actually come with bottoms that go over your original's to give back its cushion. Depending on your situation you can very well add more or less.
You can also add additional foam from a fabric store like Jo-Ann's (+ check for 40% off coupons) or pick some up from a local upholstery shop. Really pretty easy to fix up the old seat bottoms.
